Interesting! I am so touched that you a modder still remember such an old project (like ZeroPresence). And I have some nice memories as a child playing this mod, although I did not understand its plot and some conversations because English is not my native and to be frank it was also very mysterious. Moreover this mod reminds me the golden age of Deus Ex modding, a period when this mod, Zodiac, 2029 mod, the masterpiece TNM and many others were released!
It would be much better with some English dub and with current AI technologies it would be achievable!

I have read it. But still there is a large confusion...The description states on the one hand that "the aim or intention of version 1.15 was to remove any content from the modification that violated copyright law and the GothicMOD license from Piranha Bytes", while on the other hand it states "thus providing a nice basis for subsequent updates, hotfixes, patches or even newer versions"
Also I notice that there is some German influence because of the "Die Rückkehr"
So my main question - is that version an inferior version of the original Russian Returning 2.0? (Because of the removed contect)
So if I want to enjoy the mod in its fullest should I play this German modified mod or the Russian?

I am confused... Is this related to the Russian mod Returning 2.0 + Rebalance-New Balance?
Or is this a completely different mod?

You create the most underrated project in the entire moddb site!!
Imagine the power of the new engine! Except the obvious visual improvements you could theoretically create as many factions as you can (because the canon engine can not handle many factions)
