Yeah I got no error log, just that the exe stopped working. Changing the graphics to minimum did the trick. Thanks.
I'm getting a constant crash in the Great Swamp every time a blowout starts.
I came across a constant crash in Radar at the end of the sequence where everything goes dark and a lot of zombies and mutants spawn. Switching back those render files fixed that. I had no issues up to that point and I've been exploring everywhere and doing all the side quests I could.
I've been playing with those 2 render files switched for 3 hrs straight with no crashes at all. Not sure if that's of any help since its only those 2 files.
I feel like OGSE scales the shadows properly with the time of day. When you start a new game, the time is around 7 in the morning, so it makes sense that the shadows appear more stretched out because the sun is rising over the hill. While the lightning in NS seems like its around 12 or 1 oclock during the day even tho its morning. Btw you can make the shadows even sharper if you type -smap4096 in the launch option.
I looked around a bit deeper and I found a post where someone compiled the OGSE render so that apparently it should work with the base game and any mod. That's what google translate said anyway. I tried installing the files but whenever I started the game it instantly crashed and the bug report said it was something to do with the xrCore.dll in the bin folder.
You're supposed to replace XR_3DA.exe, xrRender_R1.dll and xrRender_R2.dll in the bin folder. As well as copying a bunch of files into gamedata/shaders/r2. But that crashed the game, so this time I only copied xrRender files and the shaders without the exe and the game still crashed but this time I got an error saying Pixel Shader 1.1 is required. So I just pasted the xrRender files without the shaders and exe, and the game started. I went into options but they still looked the same, not like the big *** menu you get in OGSE. So I started a new game to see if theres any difference ingame. And to my surprise there was, the lightning and shadows seem way more detailed. Especially in the distance.

I was messing around on Russian forums and I found a post where they said you can add the OGSE Engine render to NS 2016. Any plans on adding it in the future?

There's no spectnaz there. Just the Privates and the Major. One of them was a Sergeant tho. It would specifically say they're Spectnaz in their name right?
Kostya followed me through the electric tunnel, It was weird tho, because before i went through the tunnel he kept circling the truck beside the entrance. He followed me anyway and now hes trying to kill the military too. Both of them are invincible. Has to be some kind of bug right.
Edit: Nvm... he killed all of them... Even the one that still kept going after I emptied 100 pistol rounds right in his face.
It's like 13:29 during the day and they still shoot me on sight. I don't know if it's a glitch or what.
Yeah I wasn't trying to kill them, I was on the roof top of the mill beside the bridge looking for stashes and they just started shooting me.

Ohhh... i didn't read that in the diary ha. Thanks for the info. I did jump down and went into the mil on the ground floor. I was chilling beside the window waiting for the army to come close. The army men came close to the window, about 30 ms or so. 4 of them stood in a straight line beside each other. I popped a cap in all of them then out of nowhere a Loner came out pointing his gun at me. I didnt know he was a loner until i popped a cap in his head and checked his body. Still, ive no idea why that loner was hostile against me.
I was in the mill just beside the bridge, on the roof top looking for stashes and the army men underneath the bridge just started to shoot me from a mile away for no reason. Like i did nothing to provoke them.
Why is one of the army dudes in cordon at the bridge invincible?
Yeah I deleted the shaders folder, its still the same.
Is there a way to make Dynamic Shaders 2.0 work with StalkerSoup? I've asked uncle google but no luck..

I found a little bug, when you equip your knife the icon appears on top of the health and stamina bar overlapping them.
Kinda sucks when you start the game and the ingame time is around 22:00, to add salt to the wounds I can't use any of the beds in the Rookie Village and a sleeping bag costs nearly 7k so yeah...
The nights are EXTREMELY dark, like nearly pitch black. Turning on the flashlight pretty much does nothing.

I've got the same problem, it's my fifth time trying to install this mod, followed everything step by step and it keeps crashing.
Ugh... it's my fifth time trying to install this mod. I'm doing everything step by step, and when I'm done and try to start a new game, it keep crashing at CLIENT:Synchronizing..., anyone knows how to fix this?
