Thanks.
Thanks.
I'm sure you've probably found it already, but yes, there is a lantern.
Ah, thanks for playing and reviewing my custom story. You said a missing ceiling texture in a stairs area; I'll take a look at that.
Yes, I did what I could, and also abolished the permanent death system. No bugs on my end, but if I hear anything new, I'll fix them.
Look, I've spread some love (that's what LV means, right) about a mod I'm collaborating on, give me free stuff: Twitter.com
The Krusty Krab Pizza, is the pizza, for you and me!
Also, the button was something I accidentally left in there. I was going to place a button puzzle in the Temple, but I decided against it.
Thanks!
Okay, this part is a puzzle. The key will have two illusion keys that you will have to access first. After clicking on those two, there will be a real key that spawns somewhere. After clicking on the key in the chest, try looking in the chemical lab looking area for the next one.
Hopefully. :D
I'm working on removing permadeath, but a busy schedule and some scripting complications are definitely hindering my progress.
I'll look into it, and I'll probably increase the amount of time the player gets to escape. Thanks for indicating the problem.
Hi, when you are in the mines with the crank, there will be periods dueing which a creepy soundtrack will be played. You have to crouch while this is happening.
Okay then, I'll go through and try to remove things I know aren't being used. It'll shorten the size a bit (pun intended), but I'll probably use your method next time I make a mod.
Thanks! :D
I'm so glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for indicating those bugs. I'll get to work on them as soon as possible, and place a download up once the bugs are taken care of. As far as the size is concerned, my problem is that I don't want to suddenly start deleting things to reduce the size, and then all of the sudden, I'm missing a bunch of objects and textures. By keeping all of the custom textures and objects in the file, it minimizes the risks of missing textures.
Thank you so much! I really am glad that you enjoyed it.
No problem! :D
Okay, here's what you have to do. You have to get the key and leave while the grunt is still in that hallway with the locked doors. If he's anywhere else, then you'll get an instant death. Try sneaking past him while he's waiting in the hallway, if that doesn't work, then I'll try to redo that area to avoid the error in another patch. As far as the black screen is concerned, the mod is supposed to be "perma-death" (though by using the "Save and Exit" button, that can be somewhat circumvented).
Where did you receive the crash. Was it in the old area in the Equipment Storage with the bricks and the grunt?
Okay, I will take a look at it. I plan to release a patch soon, and based on the confusion, a walkthrough.
I wish I could, but I need someone to translate. I don't fully trust Google Translate.
You have to backtrack to the entrance. The deeper mines are designed to be mazelike, and you have limited time.
I'm sorry about the crashes, but I haven't found a solution for them yet. I would recommend saving and exiting periodically throughout the game. Also, I tested autosaving, but if a crash occurs, it screws up the diaries.
The hammer should be used for the door with the boards on it. The crank is an optional item that will make your gameplay easier later on, if you chose to use it.
No, they are just differently colored orbs.
I plan to release it some time this month. I'm really trying to work out the bugs so that it isn't a stereotypical "first custom story."
