It's ASCOD IFV, specifically Austrian version Ulan.

The conceptualization of EDA wanted to include as many as possible multinational EU projects, or vehicles manufactured-edited-used possibly in several countries.

This is the logic behind the choice for ASCOD, Skyranger and Leopard 2A4.

Nice... While I do like all of them: fantasy, military sci-fi and cold war psychic research stories, I think Yuri faction was way below its potential.

Judging by the team's current design expertise whatever it comes it will be fantastic.

Hey bu7loos! How's it going?

Listen, while looking at your mod I had an idea: You have three nations planned for your mod: Egypt, Iraq and Syria. Not two of them have enough unique units to stand apart as much as (for example) China or India.

Why don't you join them into Union of Arab Republics (the 1972 one which was an union of these 3)? At least in the first release. Then decide for the 2nd release if you gonna continue keeping them as UAR and add 2 previously unplanned factions (either Soviet or Allied), or if you gonna split them into Egypt, Iraq and Syria.

Also you may want to re-think Venezuela. It doesn't stand out enough in terms of roster.

Guys... a very quick thing... Can you "replace" the Jaguar 'Tank' with simply a vehicle called 'Jaguar' that's a Cuban BTR-60-100 or BTR-60-115 (https://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/cuba/images/btr-60-100-image01.jpg)

Just for "realisms" sake. No any stats or function change just new graphics so it looks more like something LATAM Armies would use.

It has been a very long time since I last checked this mod. I loove the new Soviet Structures. Finally someone took the time and energy to do something that's RA Zero inspired.

One other thing: The RA1 Heavy Tank which is nothing more than a dual-gun T-80U does fit this mod's setting and it's probably a good choice for the Eastern Republic. The T-95 Black Eagle also has an unique design style that fits those buildings ;)

Any plans for Dark Eldar and/or Adeptus Mechanicus? They're the two most unique well-known big factions not yet in mod. It would be great to have a complete spectrum of WH40k factions in DoW2 engine.

Just a random question (mostly out of curiosity) Why did you decide to develop Minas Morgul as an Adventure Faction and not go for "pick 'subfaction' at start" (which is what some other mods have done)? (under the idea that Mordor could pick between "Morgul" and "Gorgoroth")

In terms of Adventure factions and suggestions, I'd probably like to see a little more new / revised content in Angmar. I think it got less love and attention than other Adventure factions, being significantly similar with Dol Guldur. Probably less ruins / more "complete" buildings since it must also fit in the time period when it was strong enough to defeat Arnor. The translation "Iron Home" could imply iron-reinforced architecture more similar to vanilla Mordor? (yet not *that* much iron its unrealistic)

I'm not saying *all* Angmar you don't have time or energy for that(unless it's already in your plans). Just pick 2 or 3 buildings to make look as if they're more "well kept" and not full ruin like Dol Guldur (ideally Fortress being one of them)

In terms of units I think you can add 1 more living human unit, not as a wildman, but probably some iron-armored warrior(high tier) and remove 1 or 2 undead orc battalions. In the end, the Witch King was a weaker sorcerer compared to Sauron so I imagine we can make Angmar rely a little bit less on the decaying orcs. Not to mention that Angmar had its own "evil men" apart from the hillmen of Rhudaur.

Hey... so I gave a look at this new GIN (ex GLA) update. Lovely. Reconceptualized the Scorpion as a sort of ifv (minus transport)... and t-62 and t-72 tanks.

Looking forward to seeing what new equipment you have in mind for GIN.

My opinion if this mod is continuing toward version 4.0 then 5 factions for each force but some reconceptualized/reorganized
ALLIES: USA, UK, France, Germany,
SOVIETS: USSR, Yugoslavia, Cuba, India
YURI: Psicorps, Specter, Genesis, (cabal-like cyborg faction)
ASIAN: China, Korea(united), Vietnam, Japan
GLA reconceptualized: (arab faction), (iranian faction), (african faction), (latin america faction)

also redesign all C&C Generals units. For example, GLA vehicles can resemble mid-east & african manufacture more. Or the Asian Gatling Tank might look more like T249 Vigilante.

P.S: Crusader Tanks were based on M8 AGS so maybe you can redesign to that. While instead of "Paladin Tank" you could use a "Paladin" vehicle based on Abrams AGDS.

P.S.S: Reorganize Aircraft & Helicopters for all factions.

Allies - AH-64 Apache(USA,Germany,France), Harrier(UK, jet that doesn't need reload like helicopters)

Soviets - Ka-52(USSR), Mi-24 Hind (others)

Yuri - Comanche (one subfaction you pick), Harpy (others)

Asian - Z-10 (China, Korea, Vietnam), OH-1 (Japan)

GLA - SuperHind (african subfaction), AH-1 Cobra (others)

Ok so take a personal opinion with regards to this mod:
Regarding BLUFOR

*You can make one faction of all Nordic Factions in NATO. Its equipment will include Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Finnish. This will liberate 2 slots (1 in your case since you used Denmark) in allies and Finland slot in Warsaw Pact.
**Turkey can fill up the other slot liberated in Allies since it's a pretty important / poweful country.

**A Commonwealth Faction can be made bringing in Canada, ANZAC and South Africa in the same faction. This will free 2 slots you can use for ASEAN and for a Poland that goes in BLUFOR.

**Consider replacing Netherlands with Italy because it has a more varied and interesting equipment choices compared to Netherlands (which is almost germany).

Regarding REDFOR: East Germany shouldn't exist, neither should Poland and Czechoslovakia be there. Maybe Ukraine (as separate from Russia) with its own equipment BTR-3s, T-84s and so on. Also, Vietnam has very outdated equipment also non-original equipment. Brazil can be a more interesting choice.

So my final idea is:
BLUFOR: USA, UK, France, Germany, Commonwealth, Taiwan, Nordic Union, Turkey, ASEAN, Japan, South Korea, Italy, Israel, Poland

REDFOR: Ukraine, Russia, Iran, India, Brazil, Arab League, China, North Korea

Idk if it takes you more / less time to change it but a suggestion inspired from today's "Prism tank" is to move Prism technology to Greece (story of Archimedes' Mirror).

You can even call the tank "archimedes tank" or "archimedes' mirror tank". Even in RA3 prism weapon was "Athena Cannon".

If I may make a request / suggestion, I would like to see in the future versions two units that are inspired from the 2003's WotR Goblin Spearman and Trolls (Stonehurler and Bonecrusher). Note, I'm not saying they should be copied as a role or anything, just that there should be a Goblin unit with the same of armor (and especially cap/hood) as in WotR and at least one troll (preferrably a Desert Troll if this is planned) with tusks.

Why this choice? Well, I think the look given to the goblins by Liquid Entertainment is ingenious because it combines the evil look with the traditional Cap/Hood you find in english folklore (Redcap, Bluecap and others). Considering that the term "goblin" is more prominent in "the Hobbit" ( a book much closer to the folklore than "The Lord of the Rings") where it represents the Misty Mountains orcs, I think it would be a very Tolkienian detail if it would be possible to add a Goblin with hood/cap.

As far as trolls with tusks are concerned, in eastern myths (persina, indian) there are instances of orc-like or troll-like creatures (divs, rakshasas etc.) which are constantly depicted with two boar tusks (even though different from those WotR desinged). So since Desert Troll hasn't been shown yet (that I remember) maybe it would be another nice detail to give him some type of tusk (whether like in WotR or boar tusks like in myths, that's your folks' choice).

Oh man sorry. I just saw the reply. No actually I didn't do exactly that.

I went to "Games" folder and renamed "vii" to "avs" (xml files). Then I run through "avs.exe" the executable of part I (since they were both installed in the same folder).

So on simple words it requires "vii" of games folder renamed to "avs" and then it needs to run through the avs.exe of part I.

I don't know if I'm being clear.

11 factions might be the cap but there are so many cultures that can be included as "adventure factions".

Rhùn is that faction that the team always wanted to add but the 11 cap blocked them. Arnor had 3 kingoms Cardolan and Rhudahur, which can be "Adventure Factions" since Arthedain is. Another thing might be a Last Alliance faction in a Dagorlad or Siege of Barad Dur map.

Beyond these, a Morgul faction in the Minas Morgul-specific map is also interesting in terms of lore. And Avari Elves could grow into a fully fledged faction out of Dorwinion.

Adventure Factions open the doors to a fully-fledged "Age of the Ring" where every culture is represented. Note, for example, in one of their Youtube streams a "Blackroot Vale" adventure map (Dev Stream #28, minute 59:10). Do you know what big implications that has? Possibly a complete Erech/Oathbreaker faction.

Now I may be mistaken, but if you carefully sort data and such you might be able to have both part 1 and part 2 in the same mod, if your human factions share architecture with part 1's "Fortified Western"?

My prediction: Easterlings/Rhun should be the "Adventure Faction" for the maps that are set in eastern middle-earth (as a replacement of Harad). At least in all maps which feature Dorwinion, or all the areas easterlings were present but not haradrim (map of Erebor etc.)
