My name is Mike and I love games design. I have previously been employed by Microsoft Game Studios as a designer on an Xbox 360 title - and I also love working on projects in my free time.
I'm currently 24 years old and enjoy gaming and games development. For a long while I've been using all versions of the Unreal Editor. Nothing interests and satisfies me more than creating a game environment in which others can enjoy.

I am multi-skilled in various areas of game development, including level design, modelling, texturing, gameplay design, and programming (C#, JAVA, UnrealScript).

Thanks, But I'm definetly not good as you are. Though now I started learning Unity. Btw, just wanted to know, what kind of modelling software do you use? I want to learn modelling, but I know it needs some artistic skills and a good knowledge of modelling program. Right now, Im thinking of blender...

I'd suggest trying to get your hands on 3D Studio Max! I've tried Max and blender and I can safely say 3DS Max is 100x better! I wouldn't touch blender with a bargepole! I've also worked with unity alot, and although it is quite a neat engine with lots of easy customization, its not at all powerful, and youre confined to very low-graphical games with unity. I'd suggest sticking to UDK :D

Yes I can agree, I fealt lot more comfortable with UDK before, but theres also another thing... I'm Learning programming, and problem is that UDK only supports its Unreal Script and Kismet, unlike Unity, where you can just write C#, Java and Boo code right away. It also felt that importing stuff into Unity was lot easier because I used to have lots of problem in UDK (thats what lost my interest in it in summer) like importing cloth or other objects. And yes, I have tried 3Ds Max, and I think it's very good, but since that I'm a begginer modeler, I couldn't notice significant differences.

Thank you very much for your suggestion. I'll keep that in mind.

Hi Teifi :) I've been messing around with Unity a bit and was able to get pretty similar results in a test scene I made with unity 3.X. some stuff looked better. You should take another look at unity if you haven't since 3.0 came out.

Hey ekto mate. Good to hear from you. We should catch up on msn sometime :)
Yeah I havent played with unity for a while. I will check it out :) I've been working on a solo UDK project recently, doing all texturing/modelling myself (something i never did with TA). Will show you some screens if youre interested.
