My $200 Android phone has 4GB of RAM. My computer has 32GB. Heck, I think my coffeemaker may have 2GB. Higher resolution graphics are going to need more RAM. This isn't 1970, RAM is cheap. Don't sacrifice the quality of your game to appease the 1% of people that have potatoes for gaming.

The upside-down fix is easy. Does this fix the fact that they are all displayed by the game in Black & White?

Is the Merciless 1942 multi-player mod gone now? I host a website for BF1942 and its mods and I'm having a hard time locating the mod. It isn't on Mod Database.

Will this mod work on the Steam's Homeworld Remastered Collection?

What I don't like is being forced to use different controls for infantry and vehicles. Vanilla allows you to have same controls mapped in "Common", like forward, backward, left/right as in "Land Vehicles", but it won't allow me to do this in FH2. They seem to default at ASWD but don't allow changing.

I have a server running this mod right now. Map rotation are maps from "Road to Rome" and "Secret Weapons of WW2".

There is an issue with some Iraqi names in the mod having two-word names and this throws errors on the server. These names are in the Game.rfa file of DC. Does anyone know a fix for this? I am tempted to edit the names but think this will cause an error with clients and get "Data differs from server" errors.

There are servers now again. You need to patch your game. Patches can be found on our website for the retail CD version and the free Origin version. You can also download the entire game and DC mod there. The game download needs no installation nor key.

We have a dedicated Desert Combat server, right now running bots until we get more live players. Please register on the website while there. It is the only indication of whether this project is successful.

That's because you used a cracked EXE (or a patched one). You have to replace the original bf1942.exe file in order to update. After that you would add the new patches.

Is this not up to date? It crashes my dedicated server seconds after launching.

Nice mod. I was operating a dedicated server that did not need Tunngle and worked with the Crysis Wars trial version but never got players.

Sorry, guess this game is dead. Steam version of client not working either. Some "virtual call" error. Worked for a minute or so but the game flickered a lot.

What the heck is the SteamCMD number for this? I keep trying to make a dedicated server but when I start it, it always says "Your server is out of date...".

I have used 17700 and have also tried installing it from Steam's Tools. I get the same error.

How are you supposed to set this up? How do you launch it? The shortcut it creates does nothing.

How does one go about making a dedicated server for this now that Steam's HLDS Update Tool is no more? I do not see an app# for the SteamCMD tool in their games list.

This would be great. I'm hosting a dedicated server for Crysis Wars now. It really is a cool game. I hope to find more players. Bots are a great way to fill the servers until real fodder shows up.
