Thank you very much for developing this project.
I'm pretty sure we all here want DNF to be as awesome as it was in that 2001 trailer.
I'm so hyped for it ;)
I have one suggestion about potential improvement of the current audio engine. Check this yt vid Youtube.com
This guy is an audio specialist and has been testing various games with Openal-soft for years (https://github.com/kcat/openal-soft).
In that vid, he points out that:
"The three oddest bugs are:
1. The y-axis seems to be inverted, noticeable at 0:30 and with the rain that starts playing at 2:40.
2. Crouching and walking through metal vents like at 8:50 causes weird things to happen to positional sound.
3. Too many positional sounds playing at once will cause weird audio skips, noticeable at 12:55 and 24:03."
He provides much more information in the vid's description.
I understand that sound might not be a priority for you right now (at the beginning stages of development), but still - it would be cool to have this stuff fixed and improved in the final release.
