So.. someone labors to give you something for free..

Say they prepare and cook a three course meal.
Their effort, for you, for nothing. It is a gift. A gift of labor.

You say "But I prefer my meat cooked only this particular way!" and throw it back in their face and tell everyone that they are terrible.

What does that make you? Ungrateful certainly and perhaps even arrogant.

So.. where is your meal? Where is what you have labored on and risked?
Where is your work and effort?

POP was not designed nor intended to be perfectly realistic. Close, but not quite. It has, as intended, to have elements that break conventions of "normal" as limited by the combat system from the base game.

It is also not a racing game. It is not a platformer. It is not a farm simulator. So why not rate the game on those metrics? Because that is not what it is. Rate the game on what it is.

Further -
The simulator in the base Warband engine itself, is flawed as it fails to take into account different forms of armor and how they protect against different forms and types of damage. If you want realistic then you must start with what we, as modders, have to work with.

Evaluate something based upon the intent and execution. Not something that you feel entitled to or think should be there. Now I can understand if you were somehow duped.. you paid for this work then you could be critical and say "Well this weapon is unrealistic or that armor weights too much"

But as a gift...
