I don't want to spoil the plot but to set up the world and give you guys a peek of what's in store, I've written the following.Please imagine lush green plateaus floating in a sub-space corner of a crescent planetoid. A civilization was built in the clouds, but flames that burn bright burn quickly. The resources that sustained this world for many millennia wore thin. Those in command, fully aware of the mortality of all things, decided their own lives are worth more than the legacy left to their children. They squandered nearly all remaining woodlands in pyrolytic displays. Unrest spread, and cities burned. As temperament rises, the planet phases into dystopia.Though the planet burns, a few gardens remain intact. Factions seek these oases to fuel personal interest, following in the charred footsteps of failed command. Our protagonist realizes we must defend, conquer, and discover a means to a sustainable future, whether through belief in each other or by fighting fire with fire.
