Hello, once again wanted to show my appreciation for the highest quality fan-made C&C experience i've played. Love what you've done going back and creating voice lines which sound authentic. The Soviet version of the Red Alert EVA was a surprise.

Wanted as well to let you know that on the first mission of the NOD episode, if you put an Infiltrator into the Allied War Factory then you can build the Grizzly Tank. The issue (if you would even consider it an issue) is this tank will spawn with a red colour rather than the white/grey colour of NOD. If this wasn't a creative choice by yourself then I hope this is useful info.

Hello,
I played through episode 3 of Quake using the remaster and wanted to feed back my observations:

1. Corpses sometimes block players path requiring to be gibbed to clear the way.

2. Weapon pickups seem to have 'weapons stay' multiplayer behavour (Same when tested with ChadQuake and Ironwail).

3. The auto-switch feature when picking up a new weapon still uses the Quake 1 instant weapon switch behaviour.

4. Rocket Launcher 'muzzle flash' is visible during ring of shadows powerup.

5. Weapons can still be fired during weapon draw animation, effectively ending the animation (Maybe you want to leave this as is to keep original Quake balance, I just thought I should mention it).

6. This one is personal preference: I think the small nailgun viewmodel would look better if it was moved closer towards the player, feels weird to me to see the back of the barrels so prominently.

7. Another one of personal preference: An option to turn off the hit marker sound would be cool, I also have this turned off in Quake 2. :)

8. Briefly testing with Ironwail I received two errors in console related to sound although I didn't notice anything missing in gameplay:
"Couldn't load Sound/Weapons/guncockhit.wav"
"Couldn't load Sound/Weapons/shotgn2hit.wav"

I hope this is received well. I appreciate the work you've put in already and I really like what you've done with the pain skins, and the super shotgun feels a lot more satisfying to use than the default.

Do you have any resources for learning how to script singleplayer missions for OpenRA? I suppose I should go away and learn LUA before trying to attempt this?

Hello, just wanted to let you know that on the Soviet mission 'Ironclad', the SAM-site in the top left has been accidentally placed twice (I assume accidental).

I do love what you're doing with OpenRA. Just one question though as I don't know whether it is intentional or not.

Does the Medium Tank from Tiberian Dawn not have a different firing sound? The current one I think belongs to the Mammoth Tank.

Hello, I have played this and completed it and wanted to thank you for creating it. The mapping was high quality and I liked the nod to the other dimension in there. The only gripe I would have is that there were a couple of cheap moments where death is unavoidable on a first run because you just can't see it coming. It is definitely worth a play though if you're looking for some custom Quake 2 and there could certainly be more.

I played this and I had fun but I've got a couple of suggestions for changes that I think might be necessary (all to do with the final level I might add):

1. The 'airlock' doors are quite fiddly to use and I would have to do switching between the characters after asking one of them to hold position inside the airlock and then switching back to them after pressing the button. I think the toggle switch would be better on the inside rather than the outside of the doors.

2. Killing the boss' first form with a freezethrower caused the carcass to freeze and die that way. He couldn't disappear and trigger the next stage of the battle causing the game to come to a halt.

3. The end cutscene is skippable by mashing any key but usually you're mashing keys right up to the end and can easily be mashing those same keys as the clip comes on and it will skip right through it which is irritating if you're interested in viewing them.

Just to include some positive feedback I really liked that you made each character have a different weapon set and all of the new enemies were fun. I don't come across many Duke mods that interest me but this one did and I'm glad I tried it. Good job. Thanks for creating it.

Just completed the first and second episodes and I thoroughly enjoyed them. The new weapons and enemies really added some welcome further dimensions to the Wolfenstein 3D formula as did the new mechanics granted by the ECWolf engine. As a previous bloke said I really appreciated the fact that it was still wolfenstein at it's core - the additions go very nicely on top. Thanks for making the secrets suitable for mentally deficient mortals!

I appreciate what is being accomplished here but i'm afraid that the background audio of the logs might be wasted when the player listens to this stuff in an environment with it's own ambience. Unless you intend on muting external sound whilst the log is playing?

Since this was recently posted i'll update you on a little information:

This episode USED to be XBLA only, but now you can acquire 'Doom 3: BFG Edition' which comes with Doom 1 + 2 with Doom 2 including this extra map set. It can found in an episodic page like you would see the Doom 1 episodes in the new game options. (It doesn't include Final Doom however)

Something else to bear in mind it might be a nice pickup if you also enjoy the doom 3 side of things as it comes with Doom 3 and its expansion as well as some 'lost missions' which I have yet to play.

Whilst mods that push the engine to its limits are always impressive, I am always excited to see mods that aim to bring back to original feel that the game itself created. Reminds me of DTWID - Dtwid.herokuapp.com (Sorry if you'd rather I didn't post links) I've added this to my watch list and am looking forward to watching your progress. :)

Just completed this and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The voice acting could get a bit silly at times but it no way near detracts you from the awesomeness of this singleplayer experience. I think the effort put in from beginning to end (Including the credits) is awesome and I definitely see myself coming back to this one in the future.
