If we have the steam workshop version, is this needed? I'm still seeing desyncs and stopped by here to look.

Shame Beskar isn't more compatible. Any chance of getting that updated in the future?
For me at least, I love the theme but to me it feels like things are harder to read/understand.
There isn't a remaster of sins afaik.
I'm looking forward to this. I was actually searching on Bailknight's GFX mod. Is it recommended (or even compatible) with e4x?
Hmm, so did a scan on VT Virustotal.com
Seems pretty suspicious given it has an exe
Main menu ui is a bit inconsistent. I recommend reverting it back to the single stack layout unless your planning on redesigning the entire ui at some point.
Will I need to use this with 1.3.1 or is it already included?
I saw tank hunters on the unit list and got all excited and then was sad when I didn't see an overlord. Looks like my dream of Generals 2 will have to wait XD
Its not the whole world or even a relevant % of it. Let the guy be lol I'm sure he is doing something with it.
It looks like the mod itself would be taking awhile lol
For some reason that title design looked like you ripped it straight out of bioshock lol. (not the two characters but the logo)
I think one quick easy fix is to have a slider on how accurate the bots are. maybe 1 is the intended accuracy and then the user can lower that if they want.
You are free to have whatever perspective you want :)
I like Bethesda but its common knowledge that they release their games unfinished and sometimes barely working and let the modding community take on the work. I love their games but that's the harsh reality. The AI was done terribly and I was comparing it to that. Unless you can prove to me that the so called "radiance ai" was actually good, my point still stands. You will find quite a few youtube vidoes showcasing what I mean.
You have fairly valid couterpoints, but lets be real here, oblivion's ai was designed by a 5 year old. Its irrespective how much resources Oblivion had, the ai sucked and is widely regarded as incompetent. I agree that a users satisfaction of a feature is subjective, but looking at those weird planes and random quests that are glitched because of stuck npc, there is a certain level on incompletness there that is objectve. I'll definitly check out your sequal and good luck
I have to say, as the price stands now, this game is nowhere near the worth of 12.99. If it wasn't for the indiegamestand thing, I would not have bought this. The whole thing in theory is cool, but theres something conflicting in the deisgn of the world and the game itself. Not to mention the AI is worse than oblivion and thats saying something. Someone mentioned the game isn't done and I agree. Claiming it went above the scope of the original game does not mean the half completed features are excused. I don't have a stake in this so I can care less what you do with 3079, its interesting enough to make me take a look at the sequel, but its going to take alot more cohesive and focused game to make me consider buying
You know I agree that its each developer's choice if they give out steam games to a different platform, but indie games often do it much differently to actually get sales in the 1st place. I know I'd rather have it on steam to manage all my games across computers in one program so I'll hold off until a steam sale arrives. The game seems interesting enough for me to buy at a discount price.
However whats wrong with asking when this is a common practice? Its like you telling people to stop asking for discounts at stores. Some stores do some don't but doesn't mean you shoud get butthurt over it... I buy games for $60 because most times those games are worth it, and I'm willing to bet that this game is not comparable at such price point. Publishers like locking the sold game to one platform to encourage people to buy it again somewhere else. (Yet some keys also are valid on steam and ea does allow most older games to be activated on origin if you contact them) Indie games like being "free" of such constraints alot of the times.
Well thats a long post, tl:dr, the **** is up with your qqing?
How will the rebellion faction selection factor into this? Will you just use the old sins race selection or will you have a split off factions for each? Mod looks great btw :D
great job, haven't fully played through a game yet but it seems to expand sins while still keeping it sins. I found this mod after discovering distant stars rebellion is dying out. Keep up the good work!
(btw you should try to intergrade the sins optimization project into this mod)
I'm not even going to bother quoting what you said as it seems you are inable to recall what you wrote even when it is written plain as day. I'll give you a hint though, your 1st sentence is where you claim it is a store and not a distrobution platform. It begs the question of why steam isn't as it also provides you the files to play the games unlike other stores. Also you have not retracted your statement that this game is a scam in your opinion so that point still remains. Its pretty sad (yet funny) that you think I'm trying anything at all, just pointing out something.
This is such an dumb statement, you just answered why too. It is BOTH a store and a distrobution platform... While I'm not sure how it works, but if its a scam, don't you think desura support will easily resolve this??? Stop trying to scare people with your wild theories...
Hope you will still be adding content to zigfrak post release.
I got this game during a free promo, can't say I really like it from an rts standpoint, its basically a heavily stripped down version of total war battles. There is no conquering of places, you just fight battles in the multiplayer part of the game. The rpg aspect is also quite disapointing. Its rpg in the sense farmville and the like are rpgs. You can literally wait hours to build things. Sure you get your own little persistant castle... which takes hours upon hours of waiting to do anything with. If farmville with battles is your thing, this this game is it, but otherwise do yourself a favor and buy a total war game. Empires and the more recent tw games have campaign co-op and regulary go on sale for $7.50 or less. Hell if you really want the rpg/rts, Spellforce is something to look at. At leat there you don't twiddle your thumbs waiting for a freaking tree to build.
How does the pricing work for this game? Is 9.99 an alpha price or actually what the game will retail for?
Its the whole "different things to do" that I'm confused about. Is there actual combat in this game or is it more like puzzles?
