Game seems too atmospheric for some Multiplayer shooter. To me, it seems it could be some kind of horror game like Penumbra, but with a lot better graphics! :O

Some of us work in the game industry, but NMRiH is still our hobby project. :)
AWESOME!
This is where you get the game from now on: Store.steampowered.com
:)
It's LIVE now! No more beta-keys, just go to: Store.steampowered.com
Yes, starting from 1.07, NMRiH will be downloaded/updated through Steam. This Steam-release is different and isn't working like a mod anymore.
No, you guys are awesome for sticking around with us while we're developing this thing. :)
It means, that you can only download the Steam version of the mod if you have a beta-key. They are given either in Facebook at random times or if you go to our forums and apply as a tester.
The 1.06, which isn't the Steam version and is older, can be downloaded from here in ModDB in downloads -section.
NMRiH is free and always will be free. If you see us charging you money for this, you're getting scammed by someone not us and you should tell the guy to buzz off from the internet. :)
Yes, the video there is from the 1.07 version, which is the upcoming Steam release.
Our mod/game isn't supposed to be for everyone and we will never make it such (unless, everyone is hardcore gamer and wants challenge in their zombie game). This doesn't mean that we want to keep things unnecessarily complicated though. We're working on making features and stuff more streamlined and "sense-making".
We really don't slow down, we just take up too much additional stuff we want to add in the next release and then suddenly we're overflowing with tasks to do but which can't be just discarded anymore.
The first beta was released in October 2011. The Steam -version will be coming soon. :)
The ordinary scrollwheel way of choosing weapons is slow indeed. That's why we have the inventory wheels (keys 1 and 2 on your keyboard by default, you have to hold either one them pressed) where the 1 opens up weapon/item-inventory and 2 is for ammo. To choose weapon, just hover over it with your mouse and let go the inventory key and weapon of choice is now at your hands.
I hope this helps a little! :)
You very soon don't need that anymore, because this thing's going to be released through Steam! :)
Yes, you can play it alone and by that, I really mean alone. We don't have bots in our mod. This means, it's only you, some boomsticks and tons of zombies.
Go check the profile of that user. His comments haven't been be brightest before either. :)
If I remember right, the one of the biggest problems was that there's no support for Linux servers in Alien Swarm SDK. Someone else (Maxx probably) can give better information on this one.
Will there be a level editor for this? Would be so cool to design few missions for this game, it seems so fun! :)
Yes, 1.07 will be released sometime next month (exact time not set in stone yet). :)
Well, we will be "almost standalone" with Steam release. :)
Are you saying, that you can't post a new topic here: Nomoreroominhell.com ?
Keep up the great work guys! I can't wait to play this thing some day. :)
All the required files (.bsp/.nav) are dropped in the "maps" -folder in ".../steam/steamapps/SourceMods/nmrih/".
I doubt we're getting any new gamemodes released in the next patch. We are designing two gamemodes at the moment, but neither of them are being made into reality yet, because there are tons of other more important things to work on currently (new melee system, Steam integration, bug-fixing, etc.).
