I'm not sure about the "arabic muslim" village, as you wrote. I never been to Tuzla/Soli, but I believe that it's a Slavic muslim town. Bosnia is a Slavic Land and I also believe that our unity is still possible once the people realize what divides them.

The word Slavic should be emphesized, especially down in the Balkans. Southern Slavs are too nationalistic and too proud of their religions. That's why our common enemy took advantage of that and financed to destroy JugoSlavija.

Southern Slavs are foolishly proud of what divides them and causing them to be weak economically and prevents them to become a worldwide respected Slavic Power.

If I would have the power to lead Slavs, my first step would be to close all your churches and force you to have one flag and one nationality. You would be of Slavic Nationality and those that have the need to go to church, would all attend The Slavonic Church.
I know I would not be a very popular leader, but this is the only way to have a true UNITY among Slavs.

There's too many of us and that's why the outsiders are trying to divide us, using our people and their Foolish Pride.

From the 50's till the 80's, the Western Europe was for the US simply The Gate to the Eastern Europe [and then further and further], that's why they dumped so much money there after the WWII.
The germans are now seeing it, along some other EU members.

Yes, the unity of the Russians should serve as an example to us, the Slavs. They have overcome lot more to form their unity, while we don't have much to overcome, maybe except the religions we all inherited from other Empires, which now divide us.

Think about it brothers, anyone can use those religions against us. The Religion is a Tool to manipulate masses, just like Nationalism is.
When are you going to wise up and overcome these obsticles ?

We have to start thinking uniformly, just like the Russians do. They are simply the Russians and we need to be simply the Slavs and nothing more or less.

If Greece manages to exit the EU, it should open the door for other members as well. The way EU was set up, ment no chance to leave after entering. The Greeks may change this and show the way out for others.

Putin and Tsipras met a few times already - I think in 2014 and maybe 2013 as well. I believe that V.Putin gave the Greeks already some guaranties, otherwise they wouldn't be trying to leave the EU in such condition as they are in now.
If Greece would also declare bankrupcy to avoid the repayment of debt to EU, it would mean for the Greece - no more loans from the EU's Central Bank, maybe even the IMF.

Yes, for the most part of the latest history, we thought of unification only when we faced hardship.
The smart think would be to unite now, so there is a lesser chance of hardship finding us again. Our Slavic leaders don't seem to get it. Maybe they should be all replaced.

Yes, I thought about that already after reading that only about 60% or 65% of Russians are of Slavic origins.
Since then, my push was about uniting the Western and Southern Slavs into one Federation which would develop brotherly ties with the Rus Federation [BelaRus, Russia, Ukraine].

I know it would not be fair to force the rest of RF into a union called Slavia. I like RF the way it is. It's a beautiful federation of variety - something the Western and Southern Slavs should take an examle from.

Frosty, our traditions and habits are so similar, it doesn't make sense to me to think of us as separate nations.
The fact that we do so, is a problem to begin with. Look at YugoSloavia and Ukraine/Russia problem.

If they learned in schools that we are Slavs instead of Croatians, Serbs, Slovenes, Ukrainians, ..., there would be much stronger unity among them all.

The way I see the NATIONAL question is this:
We all must become ONE NATION - a Slavic Nation, consisting of Slavs from various regions, NOT from various nations.
Slavs from the region of Slovakia, Bohemia, Moravia, Poland, Slovenia, the region of Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, .....

This looks impressive, I just don't know why are the Slavs affraid to do this.

I think that everyone got used to their own borders too much and are affraid to change it. Our individual national mentality needs to change to just one and we need to start refering to ourselves as Slavs - not as Slovaks, Czechs, Polaks, Croatians, Serbs, ...

Keby naozaj vznikla Slavija, tak to už bude jedno či patrí Krym (alebo NovoRosija) pod ruskú správu a či pod ukrajinskú - podstatné bude, že je to Slovanské územie.
Ono sa to zdá byť problém iba teraz - keď sme rozdelení. Tá mapa hore odzrkadľuje našu jednotu, čiže na tých žltých čiarach by ani nemalo tak záležať.

Keby sme boli schopní tamtoho docieliť, sami by ste videli, že naše hranice by sa stali neexistujúce - a o to nám práve ide - vymazať naše nejednotné (a problematické) národy a urobiť len jeden - Národ Slovanský.

Yes, nationalism is a problem, especially in Ukraine and Croatia. The way to deal with it, is to educate our kids about what our ancestors achieved when there was greater unity among them. And also what they lost when their unity and brotherhood cooled off.
Our Slavic kids need to realize how unity works. Such educational programs should be developed and introduced into Slavic schools as soon as possible - before we loose our lands and our rights to self-educate.

When the Sokol groups were active, similar material was being presented there to the kids - I guess that's why it was easy to unite the Czechs and Slovaks - they understood the importance of unity. They understood that In Unity, There's Power. the Russians understand that to this day, even the Americans do. How come us, the Western and Southern Slavs got so dumb?

You see, if we could reinstall at least the mindset of Slavs from the 19th century, we wouldn't need no dictatorship - we would have Slavs aware of the danger which separatism and nationalism brings.
After all, the first CzechoSlovak Republic was a social-democratic political establishment, not a dictatorship. Hitler broke us apart, we then united again and became a socialist/communist establishment. Unfortunatelly, we gave up our unity in 1992, we though we don't need it anymore since the world is getting so "secure", all of a sudden.

Yes, in Slovakia, they had the same celebrations. They marched with the straw Morena towards a river, then they set her on fire and threw her into a river. Cruel, yes, I know, poor Morena :-).

That was the way they were welcoming the Spring. I dindn't hear about them still doing it, if they do, it would be in eastern part of Slovakia.

I would guess that it's the eastern part of Germany that's informed the most. After all, there are groups of germanized Slavs over there.

Here is a short [5 min] documentary about the traditional instrument of Slovakia, called "fujara".
It's native to the central region of Slovakia, where the shepperds were herding the sheep.

That's impressive. I've seen those instruments on paintings from about 18th century, I didn't know they're called "Gusli". We have an instrument called "Husle", but it is the violin.
How do you call the violin in Russia?
In Poland, violin is called "skrzypce".

We love these old signs in CzechoSlovakia. It's old, but still quite urgent - especialy since 90's.
