Will the linux version ever get updated to 2.0. I only see the option for 1.4 on my screen?

Wil you be using an engin that runs natively on linux. That wil be a key selling point for the platform.

It's working after I installed 32bit libraries but the audio does not work. "Dynamically loading the sndfile library failed, disabling sound". this is the message i get at game startup.

which controllers are supported under linux.

What 32 bit libs did you install, is there a specific package in the software cente.r

I have the mono runtime installed and it doesn't run for me. does it require proprietary drivers to run. i have a few games that fail to launch under ubuntu 12.04 that were fine under 10.04 with drivers installed

Does anyone have trouble installing it on ubuntu 12.04. everything was fine on 10.04 but on this install it's missing 32 bit libraries.

Unity made me sad, until i installed gnome shell and the fallback mode.

I wanted this game but if everyone says it's failing to work then i'll have to wait for them go get it together.

Very interesting read. I have not put the time into the game yet and I won't for a few months (tired of constantly upgrading ubuntu and waiting to settle down with the next lts) but this is one game I will explore to the fullest when that happens (strange sense of deja vu now).

Not sure if this is where I should ask but could we get stunt rally and vdrift on desura. I tried play-deb but stunt rally was very glitchy and unplayable. I tried downloading vdrift but I could not find some dependecies on ubuntu11.04 to install it.

Can we have an Arch vs Ubuntu compettion of some sort.
