We'll work on getting something up soon. We're in the middle of some major networking updates at the moment, changes that are necessary for the game to become a full fledged mmo.

Yeah, it's in alpha testing stage. You can make an account and play every Friday/Saturday. We're working hard to get the game polished, and into beta as soon as we've finished perfecting the current systems.
Zoom in all the way to enable first person. Esc to turn on Oculus Rift mode.
It's a bit to early for us to guarantee that there won't be any micro-transactions.
But I can say, that the business model we'll be using doesn't require us to setup a cash shop, to keep the game running. And pretty much the entire team is against having micro-transactions unless absolutely necessary.

Yep, the game is up every Friday and Saturday for public access. Just download the client, make an account and test!
It's probably trying to install the patch, generally it downloads the patch. Installs it, and restarts the client without intervention. If that's not working, we can upload a pre-patched version for you.
Keys to access the closed alpha are given out to regular contributors in the forum community, and are given to people who've supported the project with at least $40.
Alternatively, the game is open to everyone on Friday and Saturday of every week.

The timing is based on PST I believe. So an hour and a half left until it's open to everyone.

Outside of Friday and Saturday the game requires a key to play.
To make an account type in a username + pass and hit register. After that you should be able to login assuming one of the above requirements are met.
