I gotta say, the work that I did on this was a lot of fun to do. The End
That's basically what I am planning to do.
Oops. That was an accident, I meant before The Elder Scrolls V. Sorry.
Hello! Half-Doom wont be made on Source, It will use an engine I am building. More on that soon!
Is there a reason you use a sprite/flat model for the weapon? Also good job on the silver fish!
Very awesome, keep up the good work!
Impulse will be replaced by my new engine in January. Thats all I can say right now!
I do not see any walls that are not on 90 degree angles.
*Stares at screen with a blank face* =|
Because its actually in the hundreds if you think every update counts towards a new game number thing, Garrysmod.com
Hooray! In my opinion OpenGL is superior to DirectX.
Game Maker... On the PSP?! I must have been living under a rock for the past two years! I didn't know Game Maker games could run on the PSP! Why is one of the features and M16? Also the engine is not that great, You know you can load models in Game Maker...
The PC version will use Impulse Engine, an engine I programmed.
Well, from my experience adding good vehicles is not at all that hard...
No, This is the original Half Life maps that Valve released back in '98, unmodified. Half Life Quake Mod? It was never quite a Quake "Mod"... I think what your talking about is the E3 footage of Half Life in '97... I am uploading footage of Half Life in Impulse to Youtube.
What are you looking for? It can do whatever you want most likely.
This looks great, I think I'll get a PSP soon!
I haven't been able to work on anything recently as my computer is having major hardware and software issues, I hope to have it straightened out soon. The next update should be coming soon, it is a major improvement over the current version, Quite a bit of it will be performance improvements!
If you take all the Portal maps and put them in the Portal 2 folder, it would be somewhat playable.
fourteenth! Valve should make Source better...
You can play Quake in Impulse, its in the downloads section, it also has instructions on how to make it look as good as the screen shots. I also plan on letting groups/company's use the engine for there own games.
The Quake engine is NOT Doom engine with a few new features, Everything in Quake engine is new (relative to Doom). It is possible that a few lines are straight from Doom Engine. Also, Wolfenstien 3D and Catacomb 3D are not on Doom engine, their engine functionality is much lower, all the lighting had to be the same, all rooms were square, and, in the case of Catacomb 3D I believe it did not have a 256-color palette. Adding mouselook to Doom would cause strange texture mapping on most objects, and adding 3D models to the Doom renderer would be very hard, and, in most cases, wouldn't look as good as Quake.
As of the latest build, Impulse has both! =D
Originally Halo was called "Monkey Nuts" but one of the devs couldn't tell his mother that, so they renamed it "Blam!" because when Bungie was in Chicago there were screeching tires outside the offices, but no crash sound, so someone would yell BLAM!!! I think one of the other working titles was Red Haze or something like that...
yes, yes they are, also there is some nice parallax there.
I plan on rewriting all of the ai codes. From scratch.

I like to play all games, and once I beat them I like to try and make them my own (Mod). I also like to build on to of engines such as Source, GoldSource, Quake, Darkplaces, and engines made in Game Maker. I think that retro/old games are the best (eg Quake, Doom, Half Life, etc.).
