Do they have plasma guns or a tank class in Brink?

Achievements don't interfere with hardcore gaming. Even Quakelive has them (they just call them awards).

I understand why unlockables make you worried though. Let me asure you that people won't be able to gain direct advantage by unlocking new abilities. They will be only giving more tactical options but never improve you.

Also major part of unlockables will only be visual features that reward you for playing the game or pulling off something extraordinary like mid air kills or massive killing sprees.

Yes it will. Once we kick it out the door we'd like to keep updating the content as long as there will be enough of interest.

every piece of media looks great so far. i am really keeping eye on this project.

some convincing human models and texturing you have there. keeping my eye on this.

There are a few where i felt the original was better but overall it's a great improvement i think.

No idea how you can tell that a mod is going to be special by looking at a HUD but overall this mod does look pretty good indeed.
