Description

[Very ugly google translation]

Since November last year I've been spending some time [after returning from the internship when I was in San Jose late at night] to develop a "work platform" or "framework" based on pySFML [http:// python-sfml.org] to develop [more quickly] computer games. So far I have written about 5098 lines of code (counting third-party modules that I did not write).

Since I program (over 8 ~ years) been my dream to create worlds have fun stories to others and to my delight [and live on it, so you never have to work;)].

In this video I'm documenting a small part of what developed so far, includes: the art of "screen scrolling" or "move the screen", drawn from a tiled map [what they see as a scenario of an open field] previously designed Tiled and performance with the "screen scrolling" with large maps (32 * 50 32 * 50 = 3200 pixels square) which apparently is pretty bad compared to smaller maps, drawing 2400x2600 pixels insurance is not the player. I'll see what I can do to improve it ...

thomas-aquinas, project name, comes from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church's holy patron of schools and universities; Development 'Summa Theologiae' as an introduction [somewhat stills complicated xd] to Christian philosophy of religion, among other objectives such as ordering the theology of the Church for better compression. He is my hero theological and philosophical!, you can learn more about him here Newadvent.org
