It's being rebranded as a new game at the moment.
Possibly we will have an bug-clear version of the game released at some point.

But me, im still making maps'n such for it.

Let's just say that it evolved into something greater (it's a secret ).

Im still making maps for it/modding and such, but didn't publish them yet (as they use custom assets from me).

It's not being activelly developed anymore. The things people will see, from me mostly, is mappacks/ or mods.

I don't know if Tempris will update it with more stuff later in the future.

Of course! If you like Old-School fps, its a great alternative to quake (well, quake is a bit dead these days anyway) .

It's being updated everyday. But yeah, moddb's downloads only cover 1.1 and 1.2 :/
Try to use the SVN version to see the new maps and such.

Just download the normal Cube 2 Sauerbraten (at the moment its the collector edition release version)

Multiplayer has been shutdown, as far as i know.
When i try to log in, i get an error.

Things are seriously looking good for this new version.
Now we just need servers to be perfect.

Maybe you have an outdated version?
Last time i played there were lots os servers.

I really like this game, it got the feeling of the series very well.
But sometimes i have some heavy fps drops for no aparent reason.
Also, in the Boot Camp, the place where you have to climb up, our character will fall when he is almost at the top.
In the shooting enemies part of the bootcamp, if you die before getting the bazooka, its very hard to finish that, and the vehicle part is glitched too.
Just need some more otimization, but its very good at the present state.

This is normal.
Its based on ID Tech 3, that engine wasn't build for single player games actually :P
The first chapter is really hard, you should use /g_gravity 50 to pass through some parts of it (unless you have superhuman timing)

Shame that Red eclipse did come out with some of the ideas you were planning, but you have a small team of 2 persons in the project, isn't?

True Cell-Shaded can be achieved? (i know that you can /rotoscope 1 and have something like that, but you cant see much of whats going on D:)

Ignore my last comment, now i know how to activate /devmap modes.
Just in case, ill leave here's a list of some levels:

/g_speed to change the character speed

/spdevmap don't seem to have any effects for me, it still says that cheats are not avaliable/ cheats are read only.
I install patch 1.06, but when you open console, it still says version 1.04

Red eclipse is the game's sucessor.

Assault Cube isnt by the same developer, also it uses the Cube 1 engine, and this is the Cube 2 engine.

I know that this game will feature Gamepad support, does this mean that there's a chance that i will have 2 player local gameplay also?
