Added!
Hey, for everyone still interested in this mod: I probably won't regularly update this mod (did I ever?). I might sporadically add something, but I'd recommend trying to make your own bodies stay mods.
Just download WinRFA, with that extract objects.rfa, in there go to soldiers/common and open CommonSoldierData.inc, change ObjectTemplate.timeToLiveAfterDeath to whatever amount of seconds you want (I do 10000).
I probably won't set shorter times for lower end pc's either, nor add a mod for vehicles (atm I don't even know how, but it's probably not that hard to figure out).
I'm just giving some clarity, so you don't get your hopes up ;)
You mean the equipment bags the soldiers drop when they die? I just looked around for a few minutes, but couldn't really find any text file mentioning this. For this mod I'll just stick to the soldiers' bodies, so I won't look too much into it. But if you want to find out for yourself, I'd say download the WinRFA tool, it's pretty easy to use :)
Everything seems to be working fine, now I actually properly read the comments, they don't seem legit xD
I remade it and it doesn't seem to be crashing now, so if you're still interested, you can download it now.
I just added a download for aix if you're still interested.
Hey, if anyone's interested I'm updating my Bodies Stay submods again, for now I'm using the requests in the comments (even though they're a few years old by now), if you have any other requests just post them in the comments :)

Also, I get a lot of questions about the Ragdoll mod, which I didn't make myself, so I won't elaborate too much on that. I will only say that you need WinRFA, which you can download anywhere, and use that to add the downloaded animation files to the animations.rfa (as far as I can remember).
It seems this mod doesn't work anymore since 2020, I'll try to look into it. Have there been any updates to Urban Conflict/Codename Flashpoint that I don't know of?
Hi there, BF1918 has been updated in the mean time, so I'll have to update it, I'm sorry for the inconvenience! I'll get to it asap.
Oh hey, It's been a while since I've modded bf1942, but I'll give it a try
A little update:
first of all, after a while I got more male soldiers, so that seems to have solved itself.
Secondly, todays patch broke my game, but it worked again after reinstalling this mod.
Thanks for making this.
I do have a little problem with it though,
when I only copy the spnpccharacters.xml file I don't get any female soldiers at all (Maybe they're incredibly rare).
When I also copy the spcultures.xml file I get hardly any male soldiers.
BF1942 is not a game I play reguraly nowadays, so I'm sorry if it takes too long to reply to your requests. Also I don't get notifications when people comment on my mods. I'll continue adding body stay submods, when I have enough time to do so. Meanwhile you could try to make ones yourself. Help would be appreciated and I guess I could simply add you to the contributors of this mod if you do so.
sorry for the late reply, but if you're still interested, just send me a private message
Replace the downloaded file with your backup file.
Reemplace el archivo descargado por el archivo de copia de seguridad.
I've no idea how this mod could have caused that, but thanks for notifying me!
You can find install instructions in the description and in the README.
Anything specific you don't understand?
IDF: FFI is the first Battlefield 2 mod I ever played and it's still my favourite! Keep up the good work!
Never mind, I installed some patches and the mods seem to work fine now.
I added it, could you test it and send me some feedback? I know the bodies will stay, but in my game some buildings, vehicles and weapons are glitched. I think it's because I have an older version of Battlefield, but I'm not sure and I don't want to give anyone a broken file. (This happened to me with the Balkan mod too, that's why I haven't added that one either)

I don't get any notifications when people comment on my mods, but I will check them every once in a while. If you have any ideas or requests you could also send me a private message. Many requests are related to mods I don't play myself, which makes a boring, time consuming job (downloading huge files, editing and uploading) very unrewarding too. That's why sometimes it might take some time before I respond to your requests. If it takes too long, just send me a private message, I might force myself to work on it next weekend.
