seita @ You Are Not The Hero Kickstarter Campaign is live!

Nice Shadow! Another person suggested "You are (not) the Hero" - a nod to the new Evangelion movies haha.

I remember that era conscript, there were so many amazing games and a lot of the things they've done, I'm still confused on how they managed to accomplish it without a scripting system. Regardless, I hope we'll be able to make this work out!

Hey Otter! Thanks so much for trying out the demo.

If you've already seen the gameplay video I recently posted you may have noticed it's not quite the same quality, as the playable demo was released back in May. A lot of work has been put into the game since then, mainly polishing up gameplay, such as modifying jump height and distance to make the jumping mechanic more friendly. The respawn after falling has been modified as well to teleport you further from the edge. It's little things like these that I hope people will notice in the end.

Thanks for the bug! I believe I fixed that after releasing the demo, but I'll check it out when I get the chance.

Finally, thanks so much for the suggestion, they're always welcome! I had a similar scene in mind for the game, where the player gets empowered but just as equally gets dis-empowered. I'll make sure to give you credit in case we use that suggestion.
If you've got time please look us up on Facebook and twitter. Thanks!

seita @ What makes this different?

Well said, us RPG Maker developers that spend so much time to make our game more polished past the point of being just another RPG Maker game need more credit. That first screenshot is a little confusing since I thought it was from your game~

Thanks for the question TA, I probably should have clarified that. It's practically the same reason most game devs resort to Kickstarter, in order to fund their project and release it to the public. Aside from licensing, distribution fees and living costs, I need to provide for the rest of the dev team, in particular the artists, programmer and musician working with me to make this game possible.
