I was around when you guys were working on Infinity about 10 years ago (exciting times!) but kinda lost track of what's going on when it was clear that the Quest for Earth would stay a dream.

Still, i've been watching "that new game" a while now but so far iirc just deemed it an expensive space shooter, and after reading all! of this it seems like you still have a very, very long way to go here. That's why i can't help but think that the price still does not mirror the game's state which alot of reviews on Steam also argue, and i feel like this is a wasted opportunity, unfortunately.

I admit i see the potential though, so i wish you good luck with the future development and hope that i (and loads of others) can play this at some point. Engage!

Don't worry, didn't mean to make your preset bad. For most reshade users the presets serve as "ideas" that can be modified in realtime to adjust to your needs anyway. I guess that's the beauty of Reshade, it allows us to explore more aspects of graphics individually.
In regards to the inventory texture, i didn't install any other mods, if that's what you mean. It's vanilla Anomaly 1.5.0 B3.

I really like this one, but i reduced the increased blue effect of the ColorMatrix, was a tad too bluish. Also added a sharpening filter and i find it quite decent. Thanks.

While it looks nice here and there, this preset is a bit too dark and the filmicpass results in exaggerated colors (fire appearing deep red for example). Luckily the gamma value can be adjusted easily, but overall the colors don't satisfy me, even if it looks awesome in the right situation. Also, all your additional inventory texture cause this here:

I wonder, are you planning to make the UI resizable? I've only discovered your game a week or two ago (shame on me) and watched a couple of let's play's where it's quite obvious the UI could use that feature. This is the reason i didn't buy it right away, apart from waiting for Imperium ;)

Also, are you planning to release Imperium on DRM-free sites like GoG? Looks like i'm going to get it either way though, so, when? :)

Oh, this project slipped my attention for quite a while i guess. I really like the way your "drones" are built, and i'm always for mass destruction :). I wonder though, how do you explore the universe to know where planets are that you might want to take a peek at? Can you fly through space the same way you move on planets or do you send scouts to uncover a map like in 4X games?

Yay, update, awesome! :)

Regarding continuous research i think it can't hurt to have unlimited levels with diminishing returns that might also need more and more points. Maybe you will be able to excel at that particular field with lots of levels researched, but this will come at the price of neglecting other research projects (which could also happen on purpose depending on the player's situation, so it also opens up more opportunities). I understand that this might be hard to balance, but it might be worth it. I think the game "Space Empires" is using a system like this, too.

UI: I think you could still reduce the width of ui borders a bit to make it look more sleek, and maybe try a somewhat cleaner, sharper looking font? The current one looks like it's been affected by antialiasing quite a bit.

Looking forward for more news, hopefully more regularly ;)

Awesome concept, i think it perfectly resembles the atmosphere you're going for in the game (although i'm not sure what to expect in the end). Also love the screenshots - would make beautiful wallpapers in full size... *hint* ;)

Well honestly, i don't like this rounded layout of the interface that wraps around its content with thick borders like a casing of protecting rubber. And also a practical reason: It needs alot of space that goes to waste. It's not that it doesn't have its charme, it just appears very impractical to me in contrast to the style of the other game elements.

Maybe smaller circles at the edges and less accentuated borders would help?

Love the new effects, though i wonder if all this eye candy will, even though looking minimalistic, have its impact on the framerate in larger battles? Can you tell us something about the performace?

I always love watching multiple missiles (especially swarm missiles in various games) head towards the enemy, so I would definately favor missile trails as long as they don't influence performance too much. Or maybe add trails to bigger guns only?
