Im just casual modder, doing mods in my free time. Lately i have been wondering if people would like my work, so i started pushing out mods. My first and foremost interests lie in HOI3 mods and hopefully in HOI4 when its out and patched. my Fallout mod is foundation on which i want to make more mods for HOI3, either cold war one, extended timeline one, wahammer 40k or The elder scrolls one.

welp, this was interesting.
i was playing as uberreich and mowed down legions of baguettes and pizzas. When i wanted to eat my pizza and put my game in observer mode and watch the world burn. i wrote the command and pressed enter.. and boom, bluescreen on my brand new win 10 laptop. i must say, never happened with any modded game. im not blaming creators of the mod of course, its just another fuckery of ol microsoft. but it was interesting.
also, two points for creators to think about

first-
Air warfare is incredibly slow-needs to adjust air detection, id raise detection bonus for planes in the region to 20% instead of 5%. i can outproduce my loses 2 times and so can my enemies, leading to ever increasing numbers of zepps and simple fighters flying over everything. airships have too high strategic attack. they could barely carry few tons of bombs. they should also cost more IC to build. about 3 times as much.

second-
any other ship other than battleships and to some extend battlecruisers are completely worthless. destroyers and cruisers get utterly gutted by any fleet with at least one or two battleships. subs are useless too. even when they are utterly cheap and you can build literary thousands of them without much effert before war starts, they cant do jack **** against convoys.

at last comes appreciation of creators for creating such incredibly good mod, with good alt history possibilities.

they wont do anything at all. all "fighting" will be done via events and sometimes maybe spawning of hostile units in your territory owned by "god" nation off the map. but i will have to try if i can make off map nation in the first place. as of now, wastelands are here only to prevent players from blobbing all over the place.

personal life is hard for me recently. i wont have as much time to work on the mod for a while. but im only 1/4 of the team, so work on the mod will continue, no worries.

some countries, literal remnants of countries will have claims on all their former territory that will not expire, but will have harder time conquering other lands. capital will probably be done too, via event. its really not something worth of national focus, given amount of countries. after you get all former territory, you get another event changing flag to pristine version and name will change to original one instead of "remnants of country" or stuff like that.

school has been piling up lately. BUT i got some much needed gfx files. so soon i will put up some more screens. also parts of map were revised by xaxk, now they are more lore friendly.

soon enough i will start actual testing of the mod, a lot of gfx and localization is missing along with sound files. but AI responds to new units and technologies. its still ******* retarded in its development though. BUT basic mod works as intended, thats what matters. depending on how "facelift" part of the modding goes, we could have mod out in 1 week to 1 month. hopefully. if i dont meet some AI fuckery that i will have to solve.

we will try to get it to better state than was original vanilla hoi4 when it was released. its worth the wait. better than raging about bugs destroying your game. imo.

prewar is not feasible right now in one single game, there will have to be new mod for that. number of units would be either too high for prewar or too low for post-war. and i made adjusts for organization, and bunch of others stuff. AI also fails at using too few units and too much units.

minutemen will be represented by provisional government (if it fails at certain events, it will be destroyed and instead of them, few years later, minutemen will be established)

institute is in the game from start.

they are late game alternative to it. there are both planes and choppers/vertibirds. both CAS and transport models.

wasteland are lands that can support life as we know it. greenery and peaceful wild animals are there. good place to start new settlement.

dead lands are.. well. dead. no greenery and very few animals. most of them are out to kill you.

glowlands are what you can see in F4, the glowing sea. practicaly different planet. totally hostile, but with many riches.

making gfx is taking long. i can find good candidates for pictures, but i have to mostly recreate them later which takes time. should be done this week.

in history there has not been any war 200 years long. longest war 100 years war, which was 117 years long and more of a war it was series of large military engagements without much castle concquering and land grabbing.
