I am from Germany, started programming when I was 14 or so. At first I experimented with basic (the one on the c64, qbasic, visual basic) then came visual c++, scheme, javascript, java, php and now I am finally learning actionscript 3 (for my game Follo'me). Besides that I tried creating 3d and 2d graphics as well and even tried to compose music (THAT was a bad idea). I work full time as a java programmer for a company here, but still try to keep my creativity alive and produce something nice in my "free" time.
