Sara_Temer - - 765 comments @ Luuriag Nokor Warriors

The Fist of the Great Khan. The most valorous and devoted of the Khamûlid warriors. A formation created by Khamûl himself when he set out to support the Lord of Gifts in the war in the far west. Since then, the Nokor have been the elite of the Great Steppe, fighting both in independent units and being selected to be members of the guards of most important commanders and the Great Khan.
Although initially these warriors were exclusively from the Khamûl's own clan, over time this rule was loosened and deserving warriors from other clans could also receive the honour of becoming a Nokor. As the chosen ones of the Great Khan, they have access to the best equipment as well as undergoing special training. This takes place in Khamûl Khuaran where they are also sworn in. From there, they move on to the place where, with the Khan's will, they are to serve.

The most fanatical and devoted among the Itgel lead the cult and are in charge of organisation of the orders. They also often provide additional support to the Great Khan's personal guard.
They have been pivotal in many war campaigns and are widely hated by other folk because of their exceptional brutality. Especially in Rhovanion, where they led the repression of the occupied population there.
Like the rest of the Itgel, they usually fight on horseback, but are equipped with two-handed axes for fighting on foot.

Sara_Temer - - 765 comments @ Luuriag Noyon Warriors

The Noyons are Luuriag lords who are either descended from the Khamûlid line itself or from one of the other major clans. They hold a great power in their hands and answer directly to the Great Khan.
Warriors in the service of the Noyons are solidly equipped and trained in either bow, lance and sword combat. During war, like the Mirza warriors, they join the Khan's army to support the main troops.

"finish this mod" is highly uncertain and unclear term :P
Also, Pixelated Apollo already did some videos about Last Alliance, although it was quite long ago and a lot of things in the mod were added since then. So yeah, maybe I will contact with him again ^^

On the Great Steppe, as in many other places in Middle-earth, a strong Annatar cult has developed among the tribes of the Luuriags. However, it does not have a centralised structure like the Witches of Krákaland - instead, the followers of the Lord of Gifts gather into warrior orders independent of each other. They are concerned with ensuring that no one defies the will of the Annatar, as well as the slave trade - which seems to be their main source of income. Anyone from the Luuriag tribes can join the orders - what matters to them is religious zeal, not lineage or wealth.

Although the various orders operate separately they all recognise the supremacy of and are fanatically loyal to the current Great Khan as successor to Khamûl, whom they regard as a saint. They therefore often join war expeditions, where they usually gain fame as the fearsomest of Khan's warriors. Clad in solid armour, they appear at the places of the fiercest fights throwing their fury at the enemy lines. Although they usually fight on horseback, they also have two-handed axes ready for battle on foot, which excel in sieges and heavy terrain battles.

Itgel units will only be able to be recruited by the Khamûlid Empire, other factions of Luuriags will not have access to these units.

Sara_Temer - - 765 comments @ Luuriag Tamma Units

In the rapidly expanding Khamûlid Empire, it quickly became clear that the Great Khan could not rely solely on forces provided by subordinate lords. Khamûl needed a large, well-trained and loyal army. Therefore, he established the Tamma troops, warriors who were contracted directly with him.
The primary task of the Tamma was to maintain order in the vast Empire. They stand both as garrison and a police force, and their concern is not only on civil issues. Many times in the history of the Empire it has happened that the domain of a disloyal Mirza or Noyon has been besieged by local Tamma troops to instantly crush a potential rebellion.
During the war, the Tamma form the core of Khan's army. Like the rest of the warriors, they arrive on the battlefield mounted, but during the battles themselves they often fight on foot, especially if the terrain makes it difficult to fight on horseback. They also lead in sieges, where it is the Tamma who take charge of preparing siege equipment and capturing a hold on the walls.

The Tamma are an experimental type of units. They are mounted, but their stats are closer to infantry units and it will often be worth ordering them to dismount. We still need to test how this will work in a campaign. If it doesn't work as well as we would like, we will most likely turn them into infantry units, but with campaign movement points equivalent to cavalry.

Sara_Temer - - 765 comments @ Luuriag Mirza Warriors

Warriors in the service of minor Luuriag lords, mostly clan leaders not from the Khan's closest circle. They are usually engaged in protecting Mirza's private territories, and when Khan calls for war they join the main force to supplement Khan's regular troops.
Although they are still rather lightly armoured, they are already a fairly valuable force. As the most mobile of the regular forces, Mirza's lancers usually protect the flanks of Khan's army when Mirza's archers are the vanguard to fire on the enemy before the main force strikes.

Sara_Temer - - 765 comments @ Luuriag Tserig and Akinji

For many of the inhabitants of the steppe, the only source of income is looting raids. Members of minor clans, former slaves, and those whom even the Luuriags see as criminals - all of these gather in armed bands and raid neighbouring territories, caravans trying to cross the steppe or even the camps of other Luuriags.
This is beneficial for the rulers of the steppes. These bands not only contribute to sowing terror, but are also a constant source of warriors who can be bought by the promise of loot. Although they are not well-equipped or trained fighters, they do their job by burning villages when the Khan's army marches or harassing enemy forces with constant raids.

Sara_Temer - - 765 comments @ Last Alliance Alpha v0.5.0 - Luuriags - Starting Positions

The east of Middle-earth is inhabited by the Tenüüriags, by the elves called Rhúnedain or Hrónatani which means Easterlings. They are a warlike nomadic people, under the influence of Morgoth in the times of old and now under the sway of Sauron. And although there were some among them who fought alongside the Free Peoples of the West, they are mostly known for being one of the many throngs under the Dark Lords' despotic command.

Luuriags, living near the Sea of Rhún, are one of the Tenüüriag tribes once united by Khamûl, known as the Shadow of the East, who became their first Great Khan. Khamûl led Luuriags and other tribes to bloody conquest and built a powerful Empire that stretched from Anduin Vale in the west to the Orocarni Mountains in the east and to Near Harad to the south, thus plunging Middle-earth into darkness just after the end of The War of the Elves and Sauron. Many years later, this Empire, though a shadow of itself, is still a terror to the nearby peoples, being a whip in the hands of Sauron.

This is part of the mod's lore, which we wrote based on the info from Tolkien's books.

In next update will be introduced new culture Luuriag and new regions in Rhún. We have also decided to add territories in Khand right away, but Variags are not yet added. The map show new regions and starting positions of factions there ^^

Little bugs with co-op itself can happen and it isn't mod issue but base game issue. Usually in such situations like you described just wait a moment or reload game.

I don't have plans to port this map to FotS. FotS is annoying to modding due to some stupid modding restriction.
However, if someone would want to use FotS features with this map, then most of them (maybe even all, I didn't test) you can quite simple import to Sengoku campaign on which this map based.
