Our idea

Here goes our first post!

This time we're going to talk about our main idea for the game ELTA. First of all we must say it is going to be a mobile phone game and the first versions are going to be for Android, so Android users, get your phones ready!

Besides of that, it is going to be a lateral endless runner where you control a wolf called Sköll who represents the Sun and it chases its sibling Hati, who represents the Moon. So, with all that in mind, the scenario is going to be inspired in nordic forests in the night time, when Sköll looks for Hati. The same way as Sköll does, Hati chases its sibling, so they never found each other. This two characters are based in the the Nordic Myth of Hati & Sköll the wolves who chase the charriots which carry the Sun and the Moon in order to eat them. We don't want our game to be that 'violent', so we changed a little bit the legend.

The main controls are jumping and the power of seeing the world of Hati's world when the screen is touched in a certain zone. This last power will be used to overcome the obstacles which Sköll can't pass in its world.
