Dormant is probably a better term. I haven't done anything to the game in quite a while, but I do think about it fairly often.

Someday, hopefully. I definitely want to do it, but it is something I don't know how to do. The current method of getting the game may seem cumbersome but it really isn't that bad once you set things up. If any of my tutorials need things added, I ask those issues be brought to my attention so I can make things more clear :)
Haha, thanks. Probably 1 1/2 to 2 year difference between the two sets of models.
Wow, I don't think I've heard of that... First thing we'll try is the infolog. In your spring directory (should be Program Files/Spring), look for a file called infolog.txt Send me that file in either a PM or an e-mail (sanadaujiosan@gmail.com) or some other way, and I'll take a look at it. Make sure you do that right after trying to play. A new infolog is generated after every game you play, so it should be done after the buggy game in question. Thanks!
It's true, not paying a lot of attention to the fan base is a good way to get things done. The cool thing is that you can later refine stuff, after you're both more skilled at doing whatever it is (animation) and after you get a better feel for how everything sits together.
I am very excited to see what comes of this project though! I've loved AC since the very first game and I'm happy to see others love it too! Keep up the good work! (Seriously, you have some cool stuff going on!)
One will probably come somewhat soon. Got some footage of an incomplete game between two people, will try for a full game sometime soon.
Will also put up a video sometime against the much harder other AI in the game, haha.
Very excited to see your Research stuff when it comes out Smoth :)
A minor update: I have not been able to do much on this yet, due to some surprise computer maintenance and a friend recently introducing me to a game that we enjoy playing. My computer is mostly back up and running, and as soon as I'm fully operational I am going to start work again on these changes!
A quick update, the moving tank treads script has been figured out and implemented! Woo hoo!
Master Asia was only part of the show for the later half.
Ramba Ral is the greatest. His only fault was forgetting to fight in the middle of a battle.
Looks great Smoth. I do love the Gouf.
Nope, Wings3D and a healthy dose of Photoshop for texturing.
That unit is looking pretty cool. The LUPs coming off of it looks really nice, did you make that custom?
The tower costs 10 metal and 10 energy. It would be free, but the dumb engine requires a minimum of 1 cost so I made it 10. Might make it 5 to lessen it's economical footprint.
As for the patroling thing, that would require scripting beyond my knowledge, and I'm always a proponent of people actually playing the games instead of the games playing themselves.
lol, I change the icon for the game and we get a 500% increase in daily hits. Sorry guys, real changes are on the way.
Anxiously awaiting the release of this mod. Keep it up guys!
I'm sorry, I'm not really sure what you mean. At the moment it can only morph between Cruiser and Factory form. Eventually, this T1 unit will be able to morph into the T2 version, which will also be able to morph between Cruiser and Factory form. Is that what you meant?
Looking great. Am I wrong in that the J type Zaku's had three spikes on the shield? Regardless, looks awesome.
Despite being a developer for a game on the Spring Engine, I can say I'm more excited for this. This will provide a more traditional gameplay experience, and in that way it can be different from GRTS. Very wonderful work thus far, keep it up.
Very excited to see where this goes. Gundam Century was neat, but really flawed and incomplete. I hope you can do better! Keep chuggin' man.
We're working on releasing a version where more AI will be usable with the game. Hold tight, it'll be out soon!
The chances of a port of any kind are virtually non-existant. Unless there was an objectively better engine out there that required next to no conversion for the files we've made so far, it'll be staying on the Spring Engine. The amount of work and new knowledge required would be too much. The Spring Engine is also one of the most powerful open source RTS engines out there, to my knowledge.
It is very unfortunate though that you can't get it to work. Have you tried posting on the SpringRTS forums asking for any help?
There is no .exe.
Did you read the directions? If not I'll put them here anyways. If you need more help, feel free to contact me more intimately.
"Inside of this .zip is a .sd7. It is a file extension used by the Spring Engine to recognize usable archives. The first thing you should do is download the Spring Engine if you don't already have it. You can go here to get the Spring Engine.
After you have the Spring Engine, you can double click on the .sd7 you download here, and it should automatically add it to your game options. In the Spring Lobby, you can select the mod, Conflict Terra Version 1.00, and a map, and play! "
Mmmm, now there's a MS for you. Looks good.
We definitely hope to eliminate any and all bugs that we can and that we are aware of. What we're shooting to release isn't a shoddy, buggy version, but instead a version simply lacking one of the two planned factions.
"Moddb.com --I check this about two times a week. I don't know how often Sanada checks this."
Multiple times a day.
