Once you have a completely textured mesh you can try by swapping textures for other cards that are in the same form as the one you originally modeled.

Remembering that there are several ship identities for each of the forms.

Go on and do other ships cards or textures and get more options with textures. Just scanning at this point.

You may want to go on and do more ship hull types. which would be repeating the process.

Sea Monsters could be on your list of things to do.

Or at this point you might want to bring the model into Tabletop Simulator for some tabletop fun.

As every ship type and entity comes in you will want to scale to get the desired effect in the Tabletop Simulator, it is natural.

Description

So you want to make a Pirates CSG Computer game.
and you have the cards.

Punch out the card and scan it into the computer.

Use a simple 3d modelling program that can save in .obj and texture of UvUnwrap.

make a plane and unwrap the texture of the punched card you made before onto it.

Stretch the texture to fit over the plane.

Make sure the plane matches the rough dimensions of the Card.

Start cutting around the white sections of the texture.

Once you have cut around a single section and save it as its part type in a different file.

Undo untill you are ready to start to cut out the next section.

Rinse and repeat until you have completely cut out all of the white sections of the cards and saved them as a single file each.

bring all of the pieces back into a new file and they should go into positions you cut them out of the original texture card.

Time to apply the unpunched and scanned card texture.

Now select all visible surfaces and extrude a proportionate amount.

Remember to close the objects by closing the under surface of the object.

Using the UVunwraps for the top side you can make the bottom side look similar.

You may want to scan the back of the card and use it to fill in the underside textures.

save it as a completed file with textures.

Now start to translate and rotate the objects into a position so it looks like the constructed models in the CSG.
