Hm. What would you recommend?
I tried to install the mod via the zip file in the download link, and there were several files that were unable to be extracted due to being an unsupported file type. This is strange as I've never experienced this before. I am using Windows 11, sadly. Any idea why so?
They were several .tga files for loading backgrounds or something of that sort.
I was introduced to this mod via Youtube, and as v5 has released, I know it's currently in the process of being made compatible. I saw you mentioned contacting you on Discord for a beta test of it, but I didn't see your Discord handle anywhere.
I would love to test it, too.
The mod is fantastic. My only gripe is in the pacing. I felt that the overall pacing from the start to where we get the pistol and eventually SMG, was fine. I loved all the care that went into the details in the levels, the references and callbacks. All great. There were somethings I didn't really like that didn't quite hamper my experience but it certainly made me ask questions. I don't know how to feel about fighting the Cremator so early and getting the Immolator nor fighting combine soldiers so early, nor getting an AK earlier than I would have expected. I would have thought the MP5, if anything at that point. Otherwise, it's been a wild mod so far and I'm really stoked about it all and what you have intended ahead.
I saw that Air Exchange will make an appearance.. however, a few questions -
Will we board the Borealis?
Will Vertigo make an appearance?
Will we see the Weather Station?
Are we going to go to Kraken Base?
Nova Prospekt? Depot? Wasteland?
It's all exciting to think about. I also love that the mounted gun is a lovingly retextured HMG from the beta. :P
I read the instructions for the update, it insists that I complete the mission I'm currently on before installing it. Well, I powered through the jittering mech bug and got to the end, watched the cutscene, sat back to drink some tea to watch it finish. Loading screen came up but went away after 3 seconds to show I'm still by the end ship at Snow Base with Zaxtor and Highwire with no level transition.
I am debating on replaying the mission to see if the update will fix this issue but I also want to report this sudden problem. I haven't had a single crash with AMC TC or any bug until the Mech Bug and now we make that two. Any report of this same bug previously?
As a matter of fact, I checked the Files and 22 hours ago you uploaded a patch that fixed the jittering. Thank you.
Sorry for the long winded post, I was almost ready to give up when a friend insisted I "make contact" as if you all were some sort of alien group. LOL

I've got a bug to report.
I believe this is one of the most frustrating things I've experienced in Build Engine games and it really forces me to shelve them as it's too frustrating and nauseating to continue it. In this case with AMC TC, I've found far more fun in it than any other Duke 3D mod or Build Engine game I've played. I don't know how to fix this problem, I've tried several things over the course of two hours for AMC TC and even went so far as to sign up for the Duke 4 forums as it had an AMC TC subforum but I cannot post there for some reason.
Regardless, the bug in question involves Mikko's mech in the Snow Base mission. Entering the vehicle is simple but as soon as it loads up, the screen is constantly shaking updownupdownupdownupdownupdown endlessly and I can't look up, down, left or right without it forcing the view to center like a rubber band. All firing buttons work as intended and leaving the vehicle my vision is back to normal on foot but when I enter the mech, it starts the vibrating again. The tank didn't do this in Highwire's mission so it boggles my mind. I checked through every mouse option as well as display/video option including vsync, frame limitation, graphic choice between OpenGL / Classic, resolution, windowed mode, so on and so forth.
This mod has essentially been the kind of mod I've always wanted in terms of playability, content, story, entertainment and what not. Given the slew of Half-Life textures and sound usage, it's a bonafide Half-Life mod in the Build Engine with a sprinkling of Deus Ex and even C&C Generals and I love that. It's everything I've loved all in one.
I really want to know if there's a fix for this terrible bug because it's completely preventing me from completing Mikko's mission and continuing on in the main story.
Is this mod still being worked on? I know you mentioned you wanted to wait until the demo was completed before reinstating it, how true is that still?
They Hunger Episode 2 is refered to as TH2 and Episode 3 as TH3 in the game files which is why I refer to them as such in the comment.
Headcrabs in They Hunger 2 were both regular crabs with the skull face "moooooaaaaah" as you stated above and another variant was the crawling hand. You've played the mod, I'm sure. Sven Co-op introduced the spider crab which was awfully misplaced in the thematic scheme of They Hunger if you ask me.

Are you still working on this beautiful mod? I have been looking forward to it for many a number of years and have always wanted to play it. I can only truly hope that it's not completely dead.
I discovered that the mod had been deleted when I was trying to show a good friend of mine some amazing modding work and examples of "Slice of Life".
Is it still in progress?
Will the Belgians still have "March of the Belgian Paratroopers" as their opening music? It's in the game files but I know that may be subject to change.

I've sat on this thought for quite sometime since you presented to me in response to a comment concerning the Deus Ex Revision soundtrack-- a six second concept sample of your take on the Area 51 Surface Combat track.
What would it take to complete the piece, might I ask? I ask this because I'm extremely curious about the completed piece and although EdenShard did well with at least 80% of the soundtrack and keeping it in the same vein as the original, I feel his A51 combat track is lacking the Oomph and chaotic nature of the original and I believe I would highly prefer yours.
I think many would love to hear it and replacing the current A51 track with it would be fantastic! (Or rather the Walton Simon's boss battle because I feel it would have fit way better for the nostalgia factor and a badass boss battle track).

Did anyone ever figure out the specific ports for Rocket Crowbar? They're different than any other Half Life Mod for sure.
It generally happens to me when I click ANYTHING before the game comes up. Usually remedied by restarting the game quickly and without clicking anything.

Aw man. I was really looking forward to that the entire time I was playing through the prologue and the Escape of the Vault .. Damn.

I don't believe I ever caught wind of the answer to this question, but it begs to be asked: Will there be anything more to the "relationship" hints by Jamie or even Jenifer? A possible relationship for either of them with the protagonist? I would love to see more to it if it's a thing. I was very immersed in keeping everyone safe, alive and getting out of the Vault especially Jamie /and/ Jenifer. I suppose I fell for the cute digital girls. <3
Parasomnia seems to constantly crash. Especially during training(and it's repeatable. I can make it happen /every/ time I try. Especially when I'm picking up the often respawning Colt, Dynamite and so on .. and when I throw Dynamite more than one at a time it crashes.
This is not good.
It must be the lack of sleep. But I'm having a difficult time finding the Day 1 patch.
I /really/ have to ask this question:
Why did you guys choose to not to remix/revise the Area 51 Combat music(not inside the bunker, but the outside version often titled "Raging Battle") for Revision and instead opted for an entirely different track? (It also sucks that you guys didn't at least opt to remix said track for the Walton Simons combat track you guys released for the 1 year anniversary.)
