Level 4 Knight, Level 4 Wizard, Level 3 Time Mage, Level 3 Summoner, Level 2 Lancer, Level 3 Samurai are the requirements.
Note that Summoner also know requires Level 4 Priest, and Level 4 Wizard. Happy Gaming.

Hmm, this may be an unintended bug, I will have to boot up the mod and test. We are glad you like the oracle, it was not heavily used in the vanilla game and hope we have improved the class to be on par with others.
This mod removes calculators and replaces them with Dark Knights.
I will take a look sometime next week, maybe beamdog has patched the game causing this issue. You should be able to select the large and small versions respectively. Picking a small version for the large portrait will cause the excess blurriness.
You will need to contact the artist. I just made a compilation - I do not actually make the portraits. Pull out the image and use it in a google image search.
Correct, version 1.2 and BG2EE updated BGEE.SQL rendering a mass amount of errors. This mod may be updated.
This is largely correct, please see above if you are having any issues or need instructions more thoroughly spelled out.
Guest,
This is correct the 1.2 patch broke my mod. A new update may be in the works. Please use the instructions above if you want to use the portraits as custom portraits.
Go download the zip version:
Moddb.com
Go to your "documents" folder
- Go to "Start Menu"
- Go to "Documents"
- Look for a "Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition" or "Baldur's Gate II - Enhanced Edition" folder
- Open the BGEE or BGIIEE folder
- Right click
- Create a new folder and name it "portraits"
- Open the zip file you downloaded (ie the Portrait Pack)
- Open the override folder in the zip file
- Copy these image files into the new "portraits" folder you created
- You should now be able to use the custom portraits with no issue.
*They will simply show up in the custom section, they are named like
GENDER + RACE + CLASS + NUMBER + SIZE
GENDER = M or F
RACE = HU (Human) or DW (Dwarf) or HE (Half Elf) etc
CLASS = CL (Cleric) or FI (Fighter) etc
NUMBER = self explanatory
SIZE = L/M/S
Select the medium or large one for the large portrait. Select the small one for the small portrait. I will get around to make them function like normal portraits at some point but the patches have made significant changes to how the game handles portraits and I have not updated them.
This mod does not currently add any soundsets. It should not affect your soundsets at all.
All users, this has been updated to work as a big set of custom portraits rather than adding portraits to the main portrait listing due to recent patches by the Beamdog (BGEE Developers) team.
Here's the big rub guys. You will have less mod compatibility. The upside is that the game is now . . .
1. More Stable
2. Multiplayer Actually Works (For people saying it does on the old game - go play a Cleric, Turn Undead, then get back to me)
3. Has a neat zoom function
4. A few custom additions not found in the old games/mods
I would say it is, because honestly - $20 is what? Three drinks at a bar? To hear people bitch about the cost is a little on the absurd side. If you like BG, get it. If you only like playing the old mods, don't mind instability (Beregost I look at you!), and generally hate change - don't get it.
This pack will work by putting the portraits into your "Portraits" directory however it is really designed to utilize the BGEE.SQL file and have everything loaded into the "Override" directory.
If you have the normal Overhaul/Beamdog Windows version you can donwload and install without any further issues. If you have the STEAM, MAC, or Overhaul PRE-LOAD versions you will need to use the unsupported ZIP version: You will be able to download an unsupported ZIP version at:

@Haskill
Is this for a particular portrait? I am unable to replicate the problem you are having.

I could not find the multiple colorations. However you should be able to use Photoshop color manipulation to make changes to the source image. Here is the largest source image I could find of Mage01:

Released Super Ultimate Portrait Pack!

Actually the portraits are slightly different in size in BG:EE I will update a new pack as time permits over the next week. Sorry for the delay (I was aiming to have it ready for release but I suddenly moved across the country less than a month after getting back from Afghanistan).
@Assis
At this time there is currently no way to import the updated videos from the PSP "The War of the Lions" into the PSX "Final Fantasy Tactics." A better idea would be to convert the modification to work with the PSP version. However the team that was doing this has not been heard from in months: Ffhacktics.com
Thanks for checking out the mod and we hope you enjoy it! You can leave feedback at our feedback page: Nexus-studios.org
Cheaper price man; I remember being a kid a taking "interesting" measures to acquire games. However now that games cost less than a Happy Meal on Steam, it's not worth your effort to pirate them anymore.
I believe someone has made a mod for this game.
Wow, the execution and polish on this thing looks impressive! Amazing that this is done with the RPG Maker Engine; what is the gameplay like (or is more like an interactive story)?
Suggestions on what to update exactly? All the sprites or did you want to change the battle maps also?
@jerid_b
Unfortunately there is no support for the PSP version of FFT at this time. However I have given development files to another team that may attempt to bring rebirth over to the PSP version. You can find more information at this thread: Ffhacktics.com
Correct, you can still keep your save game. Just make sure you use a "Memory Card Save" rather than a "Save State." Hopefully the e-mail I sent you will clear things up.
Archael, glad to see you put the mod on ModDB! Also I love the difficulty warning!

I'm a longtime modder who has been on and off the scene for almost a decade. I started modding in 2000 starting off with Westwood Studios' Command and Conquer series. My first ever mod was a solo effort dubbed "Soviet Revenge" for Red Alert 2. Quickly after producing my first mod I met a team of the most skilled individuals I have ever worked with and lead development for a Red Alert 2 total conversion named "Warhammer 40k - Red Alert." With over 42,000 downloads this was by far the most successful and full-fledged mod I have been a part of. After the end of that mod and the decline of Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 as a modding platform I've made minor mods for other games. My most current mod was Final Fantasy Tactics: Rebirth, a modification of the PSOne game Final Fantasy Tactics.
