To be honest, these effects can easily be done, though I'd prefer to have the option of either turning it on or off myself.

This is wonderful work, though not perfect. You've still got a few bugs and such to work out, but the progress is great.

Sir... This game is amazing. The plot is well written and weaves in perfectly with the smooth gameplay. The graphics are WAY better than Metro 2033 and it runs like a charm! I don't know how you did it, but this game is going to get GOTY 2012 for sure!

Actually, Mafia II uses the Illusion Engine. Huge differences between the two of them.

His face doesn't really look right. There is no cheek indentation, it looks way too round. He looks like he could just bounce off of any surface.

It definitely has a long way to go in order to be completed, and I found the "gibing" (or rather shrinking) to be amusing. Overall, it looks well done, though this map feels a bit blocky.

Sorry to bother you, but do you use 3Ds max to animate an model? If so, how do you export your animations/models.

I loved the original ZMBE, although there weren't many people. I'm hopping for a larger community for this. I love the gun jamming idea. A good idea, if you are thinking of using any pump action shotgun(s), would be to manually pump the gun.
