Nope.. This is an XP gamers mod. I've tried myself hard as I could to get the old Doomsday executable working but so far, the farthest I got was error code 126. I've tried newer versions of Doomsday like the 1.9 beta's but the code base has significantly changed in those to where the mod doesn't work properly. I don't think the author has any plans to bring this to a more accessible alternative.
The way JohnHighway sounds like he is hiding his true feelings in that he wanted to see this mod reach full fruition and is just extremely displeased it hasn't reached it because of internal matters. Balathruin, how ever long it takes you and whomever takes on the challenge, I wish you guys all the luck in the world.
I'm getting this too, both rogue and stitch fail to trigger their respective quests after the dialog. AI seems buggy too, all NPCs at the pripyat outskirts in the laundromat seem to be sitting facing the walls. Another question: Do I have to install TRX A-Life Revamp before or after LTTZ Storylines for 1.4.22? All this patching is pretty confusing. There's a few tick boxes in the TRX installer that are throwing me off here.

There is nothing fair about Misery or any mod that uses it as a base for content. It's designed to be a grueling experience as it's advertised. Misery fans love it like a kink. Makes Stalker feel like one of those "Rogue-likes" where supplies are extremely difficult + random to come by and enemies can slay you just by thinking about it. I prefer my progression to be closer to stock. Anomaly is yet another compilation, or basically an evolution of the same mods with Misery philosophy at it's heart. So offshoot, spin-off, grandson, or whatever. Everyone's doing it, even Road to the North. There's also something inherently unstable about a lot of those mods..
Oh and Anomaly's 64bit engine? It's still grinding against the xrengine's limitations which causes random CTDs for a lot of people. A 64bit address extension isn't a stopgap for such things, they really need to rebuild the xrengine from the ground up with all the addons and new scripts in mind. Much like how TeamEpic has been working on CoC. Sure it's not 64bit. But they've tirelessly worked on the problems changing the limits, fixing errors, and rescripting functions quite meticulously.
Late 2016 would like ^this reply back. They already have a closed beta test and it's being worked on by volunteers and they are not looking for anyone else right now. Hell, we don't even know if anyone is at the helm anymore for developments. Hate to break it to you but you're really late to the party. The R6 release is wayyy out of date and submitting bug reports for it would just clutter up a forum that is very inactive. All we can do is hope.
Yeah I saw his estimation. Just feeling TeamEpic might need to know I've been watching and waiting patiently for a good long while now. I'm honest about statement. I've tried giving all those Misery+CoC hybrids a chance, but it's too much Misery for me. I'm not worthy. I prefer vanilla difficulty...
Hey, TeamEpic. I don't really give a rats *** about Anomaly or any other offshoot of Misery Stalker that uses your mod as a base. They couldn't hold a candle to my interests. All I want is Stalker CoC 1.5 released and out the door because I love it. Please don't give up! inb4 I get downvoted to hell by Misery/CallofMisery/Lastday/DeadAir/Anomaly fans...

Good god, it really has been two years already. I was hoping the call of Chernobyl weapons pack would be released as well if 1.5 ever came to full fruition..

This year, as I remember reading somewhere in these very comments by a dev. Feature creep and extensive testing of those features is whats holding it back for so long. The betas have been even more stable than v1.4 but the thing is you can never have such things as "bug free" but relatively close such as the nature of game development.
I think I'll pass on this one for now. The Early Access on Steam feels like a demo, and not a real good one either. 20 bucks could be used for a lot of things atm. I'll wait and see how it turns out.
I'm looking forward to playing through this one again.

That's a problem I'm having with the latest GZdoom because they changed the way menu's work. Maybe best to wait for the next version of the mod after V21 hits, the fix is as simple as changing a few lines in the menudef I think, but I'm not exactly sure how. It should still work properly with Zandromum maybe.

I also recommend for brightness setting -10 in the options for a solid Doom64 mood.

As of Jan 31st, he said he only has 3 maps left to go. But it could take longer than what we are thinking if he decides to cram in some new stuff, bug fix, or do some more quality control.

Will there be any future expansions or updates to this mod? I just finished it and I'm really digging it here. Fixing to do another run. Can't seem to get enough Beyond the Grave.
1. Owl eyes highlight enemies making their sprites a little brighter than the surrounding environment (in the same manner that blood does with beast vision). It's a bit glitchy though at long distances. Crystal ball is supposed to reveal secrets but it's hard to tell in what way. Some hint tombs exist already in the form of E pickups giving hints on how to use the items effectively.
2.There is no true dual wielding mechanic. There is only the Rainmakers which drops as it's own weapon and it gets pretty common the closer you get to the first boss.
3.This SDL mod uses WASD style of binds, so you can strafe with A(left) and D(right) by default.
4.The author may have to answer that one, as it sounds pretty cool too.
