Releasing a product with issues is a thing even big companies get wrong often. It's not a dealbreaker for me any more, but I get why it is for some people, I always wait a few days before playing, so they got time to fix those issues. They released it on steam and gog which is a new thing, most likely they were focused on those platforms to get it right. I partly agree with you, we got different opinions on some matters. I don't agree on the hosting thing, nicos website is pretty good. A little nice list for downloading this stuff without searching for too long. It's straightforward, I would say.

I really appreciate that you haven't answered in a toxic way this time. Have a good day!

NicoDE was/is an official member of piranha bytes and this download is there for years and its the official download for the PlayerKit2.6f and has been linked dozens of times. You clearly have no clue what you are talking about. And the only thing you can do is to insult other people ... again. You are such a troll.

Oh and to answer a few questions. This mod is a graphics mod. You can use it in combination with other mods as well and don't have to start a new game to test it. If you doesn't like it just throw it away again. You have to drop the vdf-File into the data folder of gothic 2 to install the mod. To uninstall delete the file.

The mod has been released by accident before i was ready writing an article and releasing a video. I didn't know that a mod releases when the mod-file has been authorized by moddb, so i should have released the video and the article before i uploaded the mod-file itself. :/ I have written to the Admin's and they informed me about this and offered me to unpost it again so i can put those together before releasing, but i decided against that. You have to wait a few days for more details, they will be posted here when the video and the article are cut and written. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. :)

Could be a good thing, if you want to experience this right now i would recommend the nostalgic edition, there you can experiment with this! :) EDIT: That being said yes i'll create new spells i looked it up, and It's possible. :)

That doesn't seem to be a problem of my texturemix, what are you using beside that? The renderer would be the first adress for such a problem :( I hope you could enjoy it nonetheless!

Thank you :))

Yes my Texturepack isn't the roundest one armor-wise. I want to make another version with a better armor-composition. The 1.5 and 1.6 weren't that nice. The regular Paladin-armor-textures were made by me especially the helmet. :) the master paladin's were picked from a pool but i'm not quite happy with it either. :)

That's not what YAUP does. It is a Mod with a completely different goal, it has many features i don't want to include because i have a different idea of what i want to do with it (f.e. summoning).

I based my Mod on Sargon's and Fizzban's Scriptpatches so there are many bugfixes included already, read the log of those. I will include many different ideas and bugfixing as well.

I won't add the L'Hiver mod, it is just to much for my mod. The Wasteland Mod adds Places and Location from Gothic 1. I have my own plan in mind regarding this Topic so be patient. :)

To recreate a voice with AI isn't the best thing to do, for now. I will add a few dialogue's but only dialouge that's already included in Gothic 1+2 will be used to create new dialogue.

EDIT: But thanks for your suggestion it helps nonetheless. :)

You don't know what i want to do. Be patient. I said before i won't blow up my game and will do logic steps forward. I won't add a completely new group out of nowhere. It has to be a logical extension of what's already there.

The seekers are official members of the swamp camp. Just O into one with Marvin and you will see. :)

EDIT: A completely new group with no or bad dialogue just kills it imo.

To create more magic spells is no Problem.

How do you mean this? A more open world need more places, quests, monsters and so on.

regarding the jump animations: i'll give you a secondary patch for that if you like. That-should be no problem.

Ore Armor and Uriziel will return, but only if you play without a guild. :)

You're perfectly right! Because of that i wrote Announcement Teaser. :D

If Bethesda can do something like that. I can do it too. :D

Sorry I won't include difficulty Levels, the Balance of the Game isn't the players choice. I have ideas regarding that. I won't outbalance the game, i expand what's already there, i will keep the balance from notr as good as possible. (For Example: I want to add Helmets, so i have to change the Armor's according to the helmets, so it wouldn't be to easy and get more Armor then before.) You have to use your head and think and then you will overcome anything i throw in your way. I have Ideas for nearly anything.

And regarding your story suggestion, something like this is already planned and i may steal one or two ideas out of your post. So thank you for help. :)

A Stamina Bar won't be included, it doesn't fit into Gothic in my Opinion. Attacks and Animations are too fast for something like that. So exactly as above don't worry! :)

Thank you! I'll take my time i promise! :D It's not that easy i put many thoughts into it already, but it's doable and i'll guess it won't take that much time to do so, but i want to be 100% sure i'll use the right Textures for the right Place. The Good thing is many Places in Gothic 1 have awesome textures which could be used for places in G2, that would fit perfectly to the Alpha City, and that's exactly my plan. It will be compatible with every mod. :) But thank you i appreciate your interest! :) :D

Thank you! :) Actually i found those textures inside of Gothic 2 itself, there were just unused and some of them were not 100% ready. Some of them needed some Work, to make it playable like this. It's not 100% like the Old Alpha-Screens as you can probably see. There were some Dark Areas on the Wall-Textures and some of those were not scaled properly. But the Resources for those Wall-Textures were in it as well so i remade those. I put in some effort to Fix this Graphical Mess. But i can't point out exactly what i did, i didn't have a list. :D

There are even more unused Textures i didn't used for now and were not seen in any screens before. So i have to consider where they were used or were planed to be used. But yes there is a plan in my mind to make the Landscape look Alpha-ish/Gothic1-ish as well. I will post it here when it's ready, but it will take some time.
