God, the new ModDB is NOT my friend, the old site was awesome and i liked it alot, i feel confused by the new one...well cant bother. i finally set it all up and started a group for NWNTrek and checked the team for updates...there are non...yet.
we are really working hard and we KNOW its worth it. well whatever...i should post this in the Mod's blog section actually...heh.

I hope this mod is still alive and well. Will you be using the Star Trek rpg material from Decipher Games? I think that uses the d20 system. Seen some of the screenshots and think they look great, can't wait to see this mod for NWN2!!
1) Will the base classes be generic for example command officer, instead of KDF Officer, or Starfleet Officer?
2) What types of prestige classes are you considering?
3) Will there be an Intelligence Officer(Base Class), Marine(Base Class), & Special Forces(Prestige Class). classes?
4) Regarding the Command Officer, will he be able to 'buff' his team. For example he could have a skill called Tactics, depending on the skill ranks it gives his team the edge against enemies? Similar to Bard song.

i am sorry for the long time needed to answer your message, we took a really long pause on this mod, because we had to gather alot of ressources and watch around...every trek episode ever :)
and now, that we're back, we dont seem to understand the new ModDB, where to add news and images? :/
well here are your answers:
1. since you are aboard of a starfleet ship, you can pretty much think of the classes as in divisions, like Engineering Officer or Medical Officer
2. We didnt yet think about that, i'd like to hear your input, about everything mainly and if you know alot about RPG's everythign will help!
3. We thought about that, there are special classes that shouldnt be availible for a low player, like in starfleet you'd normally have to make a _bridge officers test_ (forgot the name) to be allowed to take command and all that.
4. yes, the officer in command is able to give moral and courage to his crew. we are really looking forward to see how this will work out online, as then you would take the position you'd like. and be together in a real team, but thats something to look at later, the storyline is not yet finished, so is the design doc :/

My girlfriend and I cant wait for this mod, I hope its still going strong. It sounds like Star Trek Online but offline. I really hope this comes out and doesnt die. Its really unique amongst other mods. Keep up the good work!
