I used to play mods when I was rather young. Problem was, I didn't know what an IE was for Red Alert 2/Yuri's Revenge. After a few years of not playing mods (because I didn't know what a virus was until it was too late), I decided to go look for something to actually spice up the gameplay and well...I found a few. ModDB is the best place to acquire a mod that interests you, considering the fact that they actually give a shit about checking to see if files are infected or not. Current mods I have: Mental Omega 3.0 (currently uninstalled to make sure no issues occur with Mental Omega 2.0), Rise of the Reds (Generals: Zero Hour mod), Shockwave Mod (Generals: Zero Hour mod), ->Star Wars: Republic at War (Star Wars: Empire at War Forces of Corruption mod), Tiberium Essence (Tiberium Wars mod), Twisted Insurrection (Tiberian Sun/Firestorm Mod[?])

Is Nooze an SHP artist or clever 3D artist? This fits really well.

Uhm, I don't ever recall any of that being true for the vanilla. You can only steal one thing per side, doesn't matter what the subfaction is or what YOU are.

In MO, your side and the target's side does.

Will the battle lab island be a goner-type deal where someone thought it was a great idea to store explosive barrels around the defense line and the Soviets take control soon after to put the pressure on you?

My favorite mission, really wanted to explore the Allied base w/o destroying it. Now, I can just use the mapper.

Don't know what to say, I was very certain there was a picture mentioning the release of 3.3.4 the following week of it' posting.

My bad, then.

From what I've noticed, when it is very near completion it is mentioned in an article and an approximate release time is given. I don't know if that'll keep going but that's what was going on. As for when that'll happen, no one knows but those involved in development and testing. You'll have to wait.

Lol. Making a mod can be really hard, depending on how far you want to set your sights on. Given how much there is in this mod and still more to come, stuff like this takes a hell of a long time to release.

It's clearly not dead, the community is still strong imo, slowly but surely tweets are also sent out by Speeder giving you a look at a piece of progress or what's in store.

Maybe sometime this weekend, perhaps. To discuss this further, we could just go into the PMs or even Discord so we don't make a thread. I've always wanted to play the Co Ops but never had someone to play with, not even my brothers.

I never played Mental Omega multiplayer because I know I'd be crushed but I am more than happy to play the campaign missions and skirmish against bots. I hope the Mentalmeisters have another great year.

Voted! :>

ScArA89 Are you talking about the Juggernaut one, or what the guest said?

To the guest, I should've been a bit clearer. It's more of an easter egg, simply search "mental omega cyborg commando" on YouTube and you'll be able to see the process of getting him. Even on Mental, he's an absolute beast.

The Psychic Tower is restricted to the PsiCorps now, you'll need to use a PsiCorps extension for the Pandora Hub to unlock the tower. It's basically the same as before: captures up to 3 ground targets (who are vulnerable to mind control), with a slightly longer delay in "firing". I think it's more expensive too.

Afaik, you can only get the big boy in either a custom map that features it or in Juggernaut.

I dunno, if they remade the classics, they should tag along with Blur Studios, I sort of like to see that. Keep the old voices but change the visuals.

For the love of God, tho, do not use Red Alert 3 for remastering 2...

If the Allies DID require an epic unit, wouldn't something have been mentioned by now? You should probably practice more as Allies.

Also, way to be rude. Works great for making yourself look like a fool, Alomalomynous

For the tweet about Singularity, I find Panic Cycle to be the most difficult...even with save and load (but the option makes it so much easier to progress without having to restart again). Singularity is one of my favorites because it is hard and the design of both the plot and layout.

Outstanding...when I saw this, I felt pretty much relieved, not having to make my own (which didn't look like it would work out). I am (hopefully soon) looking forward to seeing this being used for something I am making (well, progress has stagnated but time will get me back to it).

I think save/reloading will fix that, it usually happens when there is so much sounds firing off and the gatling cannon will randomly stop making sounds, but usually the 2nd stage of it's firing cycle it will make a sound.

Some people just straight up give negative karma because they feel like it. As for the rule.ini, an actual file I don't think you can unless you have the right permissions and the know how. I used Notepad ++ to see the contents inside and know which superweapon (support powers, they're called superweapons anyways) is called if I want to edit stuff in mapping.

I didn't think of any of those being an issue probably because I wasn't paying attention to that, now I don't have to worry. Thanks.

So great to hear the latest tweet about the anti-tank projectiles being instantaneous when it comes to travel time when garrisoned. Made it pretty difficult at times since the enemy was still given enough time to fire their weapons to dislodge the troops, like borillos.

That was actually my initial thought when I played this mod, but I figured it was to give them an edge and screw you over, making you expand your defense into using dogs and anti-spy measures. Made peace with it and later grew to become paranoid of them and like the developers' decision of having the AI use them to make the game a bit more difficult.

From what I can recall, it was said by a dev. that spies and infiltrators are not available for production in 3.0+ missions because it would make the missions much easier to just simply spam them to get enough money, making the mission stupid easy (not to mention veterancy and stealing tech). From the looks and from what I was told, infiltrating labs have been disabled for campaigns so you don't get the stolen tech.

Only spies you could get is from reinforcements or mind-controlling sneaky ones trying to sabotage you during the Epsilon playthrough.

The trailer is better than the gameplay...and the way Kane is depicted, it just hurts to see him like that.
