^^^^ sorry that comment was for someone else with a mod request for the premium packs.so theres a development for only the texture pack from the premium packs to be available as a separate mod so that u can use the textures from premium packs with any mod. as currently if u try to separate them the mod will crash. you need part 1 and part 2 to play and part 1 is just the textures but includes some features as well that wont work without the part 2.

the texture pack is definitely easy to achieve its just testing to make sure no glitches appear will be slow for testing since I need to extract exactly the right files from the premium packs, the upload size will probably be around almost 2gb as well. and I cant test out these textures on ultra. even loading levels take 5 full minutes. so it may take a few weeks

ive updated premium packs to v4 this year to work with the new perfected patch, also includes some fixes. delays will come since my laptop is very slow and cant play games on ultra so beta testing will take longer

the latest patch v4.0 has come out it fixes the annoying sound from the lightning gun and includes the latest official perfected patch and revamped to work with the latest premium pack update v4

sweet, i begin work on my mod hopefully next week.its high time the perfected mod was braught back to kick some *** this year with some updates from the premium packs and with the new patch being worked. i found perfected gibbing system low on the gore so i already added in more gore into the premium packs but that feature seems obsolete now that your working on improving it yourself, im sure youll do a much better job so its one of those features ill be removing. also arls improvements should be added in this patch.

not to bad, love the new v3, its a good improvement, only bad critisism was the realistic reloading was gone. but other than that its a great update without changing the original OD3 gameplay.

im going to try out the v3 of this mod and ill let u know what i think, im excited seeing these new features.

so since ive found god,got myself a job, study part time, and have returned top computer and buying my own laptop this week, + retired off xbox, i shall be returning to make an REVAMP! of the premium packs, it will take long but gonna redo the entire mod from scratch and port over most features but this time make alot of other features optional. this new version will work with the new patch for pd3 without overwriting any of its changes,

I haven’t included that version yet, but I’ll defenetly look into the version you’re using and do some testing. That’s a good suggestion bro. These mods were made long ago so the AI isn’t the best for doom 3.

Ive found out how to add the flashlight back a while ago, I’m pretty sure it’s linked to the player def and flashlight def, but maybe also check the ammo, items and powerup def to make sure the flashlight gives you the flashlight when you pick it up, you’ll see that certain ammo is defined for certain drops, it’s been a while too but it’s quite simple, and as far as I know you may have to add in the original flashlight def and script file from the normal doom 3, also make sure in the scripts folder that the flashlight def and script are defined in the maint script file. So it shows up,

Only in the premium packs add on for perfected doom 3, but you need to view the instructions. It’s simple but hard to memorise the bind keys for various bots.

How cool would that be if pinky was blown to bits and you could see huge chunks of his bloody flesh or head. You should return for v8 and add some small stuff like arls improvement and patching the shotgun sound. The spider mastermind should also be included !

Strange how all these glitches keep arriving years after the mod is released, sick of all these “graphic” updates that computer developers put in, I never really see any difference in graphics on computers unless it’s a graphic mod. All these graphic updates seem to be glitchy especially when mods are released that actually improve the graphics.

Be vigilant of the comments from guests, you never know if they are trolling...

Yes it sounds possible, the premium packs add on for perfected mod is basically playing perfected doom mod with redux textures along with another gameplay changes. I made sure to use redux textures so u can definetly see the difference,

Yeah this guy has potential. Hopefully when I return back to my own mods I coulda use some of his unique assets.

HAHAHAHA yeah about that... been busy with life. and other priorities. I do miss the updates but I’ve got to do a full test before the master product is finished, but yeah further on in the pipeline I’ve got to do some source code work to release new mechanics in the premium packs. So perfected doom still lives! I may just release the new update around Christmas and possibly a new patch around the new year if it needs it. It’ll be exiting! I’ve had a lot of fun making skins when I learned that.
