yes, the installer will make the installation easy. :)
the old setup files of DBM 1.2 are no longer supported though, as Italian lang is not updated anymore and the game timeframe changed.

In the testing version we already revised all AOR systems, then we did a few more changes for the next official..
In the Republican period, Romani will have access to their core units in Italy and abroad, together with some new units.. then wherever you go you'll fill your ranks with AOR units.
The same for the Auxiliaries of the Empire, the Legions and the Pretorians, their available areas are revised.. :)
Mhm, you cannot marry oracles.. there are the princesses to marry. The oracles do not move but give missions..
In the current version they were still undefined, missions blocked..
Now we finished their set of missions, there are several available.. As well, an event message pos up at 1 turn explaining what they do, the bonuses, the bad omens if you fail and how to unlock missions: compared to the original ones, now there are some more spread all over the map.
ah yes, I didn't mention, by you'll need the 4gb patch software together with the installer which will be provided for the official..
Now, as far as I see, most of the new mods for MII (the latest) use the 4gb, the same for DBM. it's because of the increased graphics .. ;)
the batch file for Steam has to go inside the main folder "DBM", replacing the other one you find there...
use this new batch to play, but first delete the map.rwm as in the descriptions..
Although, this system doesn't seem enough to avoid the graphics issue.. :/
Soon, I'll be finished with the official and before publishing I will make an installer for both steam and retail versions.. :)
Massimo X Meridio claims a majestic Coliseum!
That crap of Commodus cannot escape!! xD
Looking forward, eh!!
Mhm, I see Mr_Nygren... thanks!
although considering the timeframe, especially for the new DBM 2.0 version as it starts now on 321 BC, these Sassanid units are just too far in timeline, both in armors and designs..
Later on, I will see what appropriate reskins to bring for some of the Persian units.. ;)
Hi son_of_persia!
Thanks for the comments and the ideas you put...
a question, are you a unit modder too? Or do youonly have graphics content to provide?
Additional units reskinning is not in the list before we release the major update, the overall reskinning was done in the previous months and then we stopped with it..
Btw, ok I can start again doing some extra reskings according to what players comment out, after e have the official DBM 2.0...
About the graphics issue, yes, we received feedback too.. Apparently we went into issues with Steam players about this graphics crash for the campaign... for the official I will ask some assistance to TWC moderators, so that Steam and retail have equal stability..
If you have contents or ideas to share for the reskins you look for, just PM me and we'll set the plans..
For the official release, we are struggling as we lack time, but hopefully it should come soon.. We're adding the final character traits and ancillaries.. :)
Thanks again for sharing ideas!
DBM Team
I knew... :/
for now I cannot really focus on translating texts, I hope to come back if time allows..
then, in case someone of the BC community will provide some sort of translation, I'll let you know!
..... and that's how all settlements of the map, one by one, got their custom appearance!!
as always awesome content coming!!
Keep on! :)
It's just what I had to say... I've been watching all the maps you did so far!
HANDS DOWN!!
And waiting for new ones, even more beautiful, eh!! :)
Didn't notice before...
this is gonna be HUGE DOSE OF FUN with the CoH engine!!
Keep going!! :D
It's true, he did so many wonderful maps!
I'd been following his art for a while, ... just amazing!
Looking forward to the next pics of 1.4! :)
No words!!!
outstanding by Akathir!
I was a bit optimistic about release time some weeks ago..
Due to RL, we are slowing down, but still working regularly. We also got help from Makanyane (the IWTE creator, I thank him a lot!) to fix the remaining bugs of the 3D settlement models, so they are just fine now..
Still adding some extra buildings for the strat campaign and other oracle missions, then it should be ready for the major release!..! ;)
Good to see more varieties coming!
keep it up as always! ;)
Great reconstruction!!
Roma osserva! :)
amazing to see the devs back with 1.4!!
Keep it up! :))
Hoping there will be a renewal of efforts some time later... :((
but, of course, life has its own paths which we have to take!
Maybe though, consider releasing a pre-alpha or at least downloadable content, someone could start again from it..
Best to the whole team!
Many congrats to DAC devs for the new release and updated content!! :)
Hi there I didn't see before...
Good, we are actively searching an expert battlemap maker, as we want to have unique siege maps for some selected settlements (in such case, we will also make a unique strat map model to join the battle map one)...
if interested in making maps, please let me know in PM!!
Cheers!
mmhmmh, and surely more to come!!
The Nameless Hero is watching you, Mandy!! ;)
mmh I see, just by commenting the number of scenes and textures featured, it's impressive imo!!
Don't give up though, on your next plans! :)
managing to release a new 1.4 would be a great achievement by far, considering what the mod already offers...
Hoping well for this new release!!! ;)
Once it's ready for a first playthrough, I'll be a happy man, seriously!!
Looking for new goodies!! ;)
Mhm, the scene here is very loyal to the opening environment of G3!!
Keep going!! :))
From the feedback we got, this seems to be an issue with Steam users, while CD users usually play with no issues..
We discussed as well on TWC, it may help the LAA, the batch file provided for Steam to play and the deletion of several listed binstrings of DBM "text" folder...
For the official (we slowed down a bit for RL), we'll see about having a direct installer, hence :)
Finally the DA project has its own page here too!!!
The very best of luck for the next development, DA universe would be amazing for a TW series, no way!!
Keep going, DA devs!! :)
Hi there...
yes the squallor values were already addressed with the new DBM testing 2.0 (although remember, the realistic population always bring extra points of squallor... but the new mechanics work better in this case)..
Of course, yes, any feedback is super appreciated.. thanks!
