I haven't followed a mod in years, until now.

How about a regular mod/indie contest? Something similar to ludum dare, but with a tad more development time. I think it would be an interesting way of exploring less used themes or mechanics in games.
don't forget to add glowing mushrooms
You have to get rid of all the hl2 assets and replace them with your own. We've seen them being used in mods and valve games for over a decade. I know this is still work in progress, but you'll improve the overall feel of the game greatly by doing so.
The outside area needs to have less contrast between shadows and light. I suggest tuning up the ambient lighting a bit. Another thing about the outdoors; some textures are too noisy, especially the brick textures. Take a look at l4d or tf2 brick textures for inspiration. And get some overlays on buildings to get rid of the texture repetition.
Good luck!
Definitely keep the outlines. They make it easier to navigate and add detail.
You need more colour contrast. I'd go for something like this: I.imgur.com
I am no longer working on SF2. I'm mainly working on maps for cs:go
I'm fine and I'm mainly working on my assignments for university and a few personal projects on the side. I've recently started to work on defuse/bomb map for cs:go.
Definitely sets a retro mood. Keep up the good work!
It's the small details that make all the difference. I'm glad you are spending extra time to ensure a believable environment.
Question 01: The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world.
Question 02: A schematic of the said place; knowing your way around can save your life.
Question 03: Bring it on, baby!
Does everyone have their paper boats ready? We're going to fly to the moon in them.
That screenshot is taken from the other side.
Any way to fix that? Besides purposely keeping your active missions under five.
I tried the GOG.COM version as well as a dvd version. Still crashed. For me it always starts to crash after I accept the missions from the Bar.
Steam; tried it on two different systems.
I'm up for testing! Send me a pm with details.
I found the articles about the issues with quick saving.
The game keeps crashing sometimes when I change the level. I noticed that after accepting some side quests from Sidorovich the game will crash every time you try and go to Garbage. It happened a couple of times after accepting some mission from the Bar and then trying to change level. Now it's crashing while I try to change the level to the Bar. It also crashes if I try to load the autosave or the most recently saved game. It's pretty annoying to be set back by an hour or so.
Sometimes the game crashes on quicksaving.
Hey! Are you still alive? Last time I've seen you on steam was 664 days ago.
"We've got to have moneeeey."
Keep up the good work! I like the overall atmosphere and the direction this project is headed.
Pretty cool, but the screen looks so crowded by the hud elements.
This is exactly what I wanted to see. I can't wait to play it and create a level.
The game is shaping out quite nicely. I like the HUD design, because it's simple and clear to read.
One thing I would like to see is more colour variation in the environment.
Emergency leak has to be quick.
