Just curious here, why is it scaled for 8v8? Personally I prefer larger battles.

Although I don't play too many games, in my experience procedurally generated worlds IF DONE WELL are hands down much better because of their free open nature. StarMade, Minecraft, and similar games have no boundaries, if you can see it you can explore it and you will never know what you will find. It also allows much more imagination and gives you this feeling of adventure in a truly unknown world, not a stage that someone has prepared for you. while hand-made levels/worlds are sometimes very beautiful as the result of much hard work, I always get this sort of 'in-the-box' feeling where everything has been set in place for you. I would much rather let my mind wander out-of-the-box in an infinite sandbox-type world where I am exploring something that is totally unique and has never been seen before. It's more immersive for me because I actually am exploring a new world, not just finding what was set out for me.

No one is talking about AI. procedural generation is used in games like Minecraft. It's algorithms that generate random terrain, not an AI

When I try to play multiplayer it wont let me because it says i need to install an update that i already installed! whats up with that?
