Long awaited and very exciting news indeed!

For the previous version we had to copy maps folder from CM2013 to mmod folder. I just deleted 10 GB worth of mmod folders in order to install new version.

Since it isn't stated for this version, do I still need to copy those files from cinematic mod?

This is what Half life 2 Update should have been in the first place.

I can confirm that auto update through the client is working now. It was probably a server related issue.

Hi, I'm having a weird mouse bug. Mouse look doesn't turn around itself more than 360 degrees. I played with all the mouse options including raw input but it's not working. Vanilla HL and other mods are working fine. Using Steam. Any suggestions?

After the latest update with the demo missions, every first mission FMV's simply don't work (subsequent mission FMV's seem fine) and Firestorm music plays on TS missions and vice versa.

Now that I downloaded the full version, I can't seem to be able to strech FMV's to screen. Is there an option to do so?

do we put it in machine of pigs folder or in dark descent folder? i think it's dark descent folder but it should be made clear in the instructions.

But to make it clear, when I tried to update my old game from client it downloaded more than 400mb, probably because client was downloading files individually in uncompressed state. Because of that compressed files from moddb might sometimes be smaller than total downloaded file size from client updater.

I realized this because my updated game didn't work. Client had a crash and game.exe also crashed so I tried to download this file and tried a clean start. But it's still not working. "object reference not set to an instance of an object." is my first error message, it happens when I try to open client, it's probably net.framework related. I have 4.5.1 and 4.6 installed though.

Also game.exe is still not working. it says "error: unable to set the video mode". So far I'm unable to run TI at all.

I should note that i also have DTA but I don't have any problems with that game.

I must say your TS client works perfectly, instead of Cncnet client which looks modernized but actually it's more buggy, crashes a lot and it's UI is actually worse in terms of usefulness. It's a shame most people use cncnet's TS client...

i have the 4.09 version lol. i had to downgrade to 4.08 in order to play with my friend...

Is developement of this version ceased? Rampastring.cncnet.org is unreachable atm.

Thanks for the heads up! Mod developer certainly didn't bother to make that final touch that would make his game playable. When I installed version 2.0 iso file, it was producing those big red error messages and missing purple textures. I assumed it was the latest version so I didn't bother to use that little fix. Thanks to you I changed my mind and decided to apply it and voila. I think it updated the mod to use more recent source sdk because it has more video options than before and multicpu option is selectable. Funny thing is I was able to use HEV charger on the wall before but now I can't use it. I deleted slovakian and russian files from the mod and after I did that, node graph errors have disappeared too. I don't know why. I have one last error remaining though. Somehow I can't see my hp. This is annoying especially when I'm in the middle of an intense fight because I can't tell if I'm gonna die or not.
