I uploaded new demo with possible solution to problem You pointed. Link to demo: Indiedb.com

"The essential problem with that title, as with this one, is that one cannot ever develop a CONCRETE determination of knowing EXACTLY where that mouse is going to be."
Now sword position is correlated with camera. This means that if you "draw a line" with mouse cursor, sword will go exactly on this line. There may be still some inconsistencies (especially near mouse area border) but I am working on this.

This game is indeed inspired by "Die by the sword".

Not only you mentioned this problem. I wasn't looking to much about precision when playing "Die by the sword" so I didn't notice this earlier.
Right now I have some concept in mind how to tackle this. I am not sure whether this work or not unless I try it. This may take month or two.

Thank you for your opinion.

I uploaded new demo - it is now possible to disable slowmotion. In "New game" change "Auto slow down" to "No" and "Game speed" to 100%.

Right now it is not possible. I will make it configurable in the future. Main reason of slow motion here is to give player a bit more time to react, especially when there is no pre-attack animation which will inform other player about attack.
