Yes it does and we're launching on Steam, September 7th. You can play with a mouse and keyboard but we recommend a gamepad (360 controller is our weapon of choice).

Hi Guest! Unfortunately, due to the intricacies of the Unreal Engine I can only recommend that you update the drivers of your Graphics Card. Assuming AMD, there should be an icon in the bottom right taskbar that will allow you to do this.
I've made a note of the OS and Graphics Card and will be sure to test that configuration in future.
Sorry for the fuss, hope you get playing Unbox soon!
Thanks for playing HG, and we all have to start somewhere!
Hi guys, I read a article on Eurogamer about you a few months ago, good to see you're on the site. Good luck with your projects, if you're really some of the first indie developers in Kenya you've got some real opportunities ahead of you!
We were too! You'd have to google this but I'm sure there was another team trying to do something similar with an original cast. Hopefully Source2 / L4D3 will make the whole process easier too.
It's certainly interesting.
Thanks! I'll be posting an update soon too, lord knows we need one!
As I mentioned in the news post we used sections of per-existing survivor models, modified them and added our own content. Jay is using Ellis's torso and arms which will be re-textured to match the concept art (which you can view further back in the gallery).
In case anyone is wondering we are not dead! We should have an update soon explaining what's been going on along with some new content!
Most of our custom music has a 60's/surf rock vibe, we've just acquired a new musician as well so in a few weeks we might have some new tracks to show off.
Just a few!
In all these images he is hunched slightly. The Nick rig usually slouches, if you check out this image you can see it is not as pronounced. : Moddb.com
Miztaegg always create high quality textures!
I've posted a new Life's a Beach update showing our levels and new Special Infected re-skins, check it out!
Yeah we already have 1 location where the military rounded up and shot potential infected. We want to really give the vibe that everything broke down so corpse's everywhere!
At the moment you can download the Alpha of Ryuji and eventually I want to have all the completed characters available to download seperate from Life's a Beach. If others wanted to make a campaign featuring them we would be more than happy, so long as they credit us of course!
you can download now! L4dmaps.com
Yeah that was happening for me, I don't know why. I think it's fixed now.
I'm not sure that would fit the whole beach vibe...
We now have a VA for the role of Ryuji.
The role is very close to being filled, if the person you know can get an audition to us in the next day it might be considered.
If you go to the thread linked below there is all the details on the character as well as a download link for the audition lines.
We might be putting some of our custom music in a jukebox or two. Almost all of our music has a beach vibe, you can check them out in the video section.
When do you think we will see gameplay? You have my watch!
Hah yup a few months after we started I found this. I knew someone would bring it up eventually!
Because we are doing a re-skin we can't make major changes to the SI like removing and changing clothes. I can tell you the witch will be in a bikini I hope that is good enough!
We will just be re-skinning the Special Infected, including the Witch and Tank. Re-skinning the common infected is just too big a task.
Jockey had a couple of things left to do, I will be posting him very soon!
Yup, we are doing all of them, Jockey is coming next.
They are original models, they use the same rig as the L4D2 survivors but that's it. We are also recording custom dialogue for them so they are unique. I'm pretty sure we are the first to make characters specifically for a campaign (with voices etc.)
