I'm sorry if this question was already answered before, but what Source Engine variant are you guys developing the mod? Source Engine 2007 or the newer Alien Swarm branch?

After a few months now (more likely after it was announced), Desura has been living up for its name and still growing strong. The early development stage of it is an excellent opportunity for developers to get their indie games or mods 'Desuraized', which from that point, they can seek out bugs and inconsistence, using their project as base.

I'd like to take the opportunity to take that role and by using the indie project I'm developer at, it can be a valuable way to attempt feedback. I'd like to join as a beta tester of this wonderful project.

Doesn't matters with which words you describe counterfeit or pirate, both are illegal and it's purely unsupported. It is tough, but in order to play the mod, you need Steam installed in your computer and you must also own Half-Life (HL1), not to mention have that installed aswell.

Strange, I also tried it, but it doesn't works. You could also try the lite weight foobar2000 music player. It's excellent to get the job done, and also it's blazingly fast, recommended for most of the users. Also, you could just use Amarok 2.2 if you use Linux. :P

Nor with any GoldSrc games other than Half-Life 1. That is Counter Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, Conter-Strike: Condition Zero - Deleted Scenes, Team Fortress Classic, Day of Defeat, Half-Life: Opposing Force, Half-Life: Blueshift and Ricochet. These GoldSrc games won't let you to play Earth's Special Forces at all. You need Half-Life 1 using Steam only.

Alright. 5 days left until Christmas. Hopefully Valve will be kind again and release Half-Life 1 with a very small price at only 0.98$ just like last year. Then everybody can buy Half-Life 1 and enjoy the never ending mods of Half-Life 1, a huge example of it is Earth's Special Forces. :P

you have to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package in order to run it.

To recharge your KI hold F+D together. To lower your ki hold F+A together. Problem solved :)

It's not working that way. CS 1.6 uses appid 10 in Steam and automatically adds -game cstrike when starting CS 1.6, so it's impossible to start it with retail Counter-Strike. Half-Life in the other hand uses -appid 70 and doesn't uses the -game command.

Good question. Even the DBZ movies aren't canonical for some people. Like there's no False Super-Sayian, Broly really is just a legend, Cooler -> never heard of him. Atleast the specials are 100% in the storyline so Future Gohan should be included too..
