Bored, bored, bored...

pogi2010 Blog

I'm freaking bored out of my freaking mind. I just finished Splinter Cell: Conviction, and now the boredom is once again setting in. Anyhoo, I'm currently finding enjoyment with a little game called Crimsonland, which I found while wandering "teh vast desert of teh internetz." And so far, I'm having a bit of fun.
And now, teh "current events" list:
♦ Downloading CoH EF 1.10.
♦ Enjoying the results of the 2010 elections. (I voted for Binay and Noynoy)
♦ Scouring youtube for videos that are really worth watching.
♦ Persecuting jejemons. :D
Teh Games:
♦ Splinter Cell: Conviction - Deniable Ops, etc.
♦ Fallout 3 - Enjoying the magic once again by creating a new character. (I got pwned by a horde of Orks at the GNR Station)
♦ Crimsonland - Fooling around. OMG large thingy! Shoot! Shoot! Shoot! OMG it's eating my face! $#%@!!!
♦ The Orange Box - I'm a bit late to the Half-Life 2 party, but hey, better late than never, right?

I just finished Assassin's Creed 2. (LOL @ "Der Uberpope") Woot. And now, I'm bored. Really, really, really bored. Can anybody tell me what great games (or mods) have recently been released?
Stuff I'm doing right now:
♦Finished the first chapter of my WH40K short story. The only thing that's missing is the freaking title.
♦ Still thinking of a title to the short story mentioned above. Do you have any suggestions? Post 'em here, or PM me.
♦ Doing random stuff on the Filipino geographic group.
♦ Firin' mah lazor. ^^
♦ Working on some other stuff.
♦ Got pissed of at the goddamned PCOS machines' REALLY, REALLY EPIC FAIL. It's election time here in the Philippines, and the goddamned automated voting thingamabobs are going apeshit. Seriously, wtf?
Now Playing:
♦ CoH: EF, N '44
♦ Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Essence (Mammoth Mk. II FTW!!!) I can't wait for Tiberian Sun Rising.
♦ Fallout 3: Cleansing the D.C. ruins with Space Marines, one ork at a time. :D
Games I'll probably buy soon:
♦ Metro 2033
♦ Napoleon: Total War

Windows 7! Yay!

I just got Windows 7, and man, it is AWESOME! Mmmm... Just Cause 2...
Current Events:
♦ Bid my farewell to my old Windows XP SP3 OS, which served me for 3 years, powering the likes of CoH, Fallout 3, CoD 1, CoD 2, CoD 4, MW2, C&C 3, C&C ZH, GTA VC, GTA SA, GTA IV, and a crapload more of games. Goodbye, old friend, and may you find peace in the software heavens. :D
♦ Finishing up (grammar stuff, spelling, additional details, etc.) on the first chapter of my yet-unnamed WH40K short story. Expect it in a week or so.
♦ Thinking of a title to the short story mentioned above. Do you have any suggestions? Post 'em here, or PM me. ^^
♦ Got really pissed off at the power companies and their -almost- daily black outs.
♦ Got even more pissed off at the local candidates and their roving campaign jingle vans.
♦ Watched Phineas and Ferb with my little sister on T.V. Ended up scratching head and laughing for unknown reasons.
♦ Created a Filipino geographic group here on Moddb. Awaiting authorization.
Now Playing:
♦ CoH: EF, N '44
♦ Fallout 3: Completing the quest/mod "In the Shadow of the Swamp."
♦ Guitar Hero World Tour: *facepalm*
♦ Just Cause 2: Finished about 50% of the story. LOL @ Ninjas.
Games I'll probably buy when I get enough cash:
♦ Assassin's Creed 2
♦ Metro 2033

A New Beginning

Well, the fourth year of college is over, and thus begins the oh-so-awesome summer vacation, where I get the chance to spend some quality time with my long-lost friends Fallout 3, and Company of Heroes. My, oh my, they haven't changed a bit since I last saw them, although they seem to have gained weight now. ^^ Anyways, the election here in the Philippines will begin soon, and I'll finally get my chance to say a *theoretically* big f*ck you to all those corrupt politicians, hehe. Also, I'm beginning work on a "short" (meaning more than 5 chapters long) story, which attempts to combine the Fallout 3 and Warhammer 40,000 universes, in a clash of epic proportions. What if a imperial battle-barge going through a routine warp-jump (given the temporal instabilities and dangers of warp travel) suddenly found itself more than 38,000 years in the past, in a very different world - a twisted, post-apocalyptic world tainted with wars and mutation? What if they find that they're not the only ones from the 41st millennium there? What if the Chaos gods are working on something more sinister? And, what if they find out that the planet they find themselves in is actually Holy Terra itself? Kill the mutant. Burn the heretic. Purge the unclean. Expect an update to this story in a few days. Cheers!
