Just buy it if you want to play it.
That would be really cool, and add a lot of flavor to the mod.
Just a suggestion here (kinda just popped into my head) one thing that would be interesting and immersive IMO, would be to include foreign combatants in tournaments, like from just outside the playable area (italian, spanish, hre), and they could have heraldry unique to them or their country. Not sure what kind of tournament system you will ultimately have, but I'm basing this suggestion on if you had something similar to 1257's.
How are you guys going to depict these minor factions and groups?
I wouldn't call it pointless, you're just being obtuse.
Glad I could help, on vacation right now but at some point when I get back, I could take a look at the latest version and see what I have the know how to improve. I might be able to figure out the melee thing for the firearms too.
Try putting the face code into both facecode 1 and 2 entries.
You can’t use the module system unless you have the source files of the mod.
Make sure to run Morphs as an administrator.
With the moving of cities, the way I have always done it, is to figure out the coordinates of other locations by looking them up in morphs, and using those to guesstimate where you want to put the city you are moving. For native american faces, use edit mode, face sculpt the player character to look as native american as possible, and then while in that screen, press control and “e” and then copy the code that pops up by clicking it. You can then use that code to assign faces for native americans in morphs.
What you can do possibly, is to make the canada faction a different faction, lets say another confederate faction, and manually move their cities using the “parties” editor in morph’s. Could make them native Americans or something alternatively.
Did you ever figure out how to not make the US and Canada not be at war?
Whatever brown-noser. Like I said anyone feel free to contact me for some edits to the mod.
Got a wife actually and this isn’t really a big time commitment to keep getting your goat. That’s always the first thing you people go to, “get a ”gf” or “get a life”, lol not changing the fact that I’ll keep hooking people up with a fix for this mod if they want it brown-noser.
Good, how are you doing?
I edited a couple of the mods files, I didn’t republish the whole mod and take credit for the creative work of it, and I didn’t praise that other guy re-uploading the mod and taking credit as the author. And I really don’t care what you think, random brown-noser.
I was not the one reposting your mod on steam, but as much as I respect your work, I don’t respect the elitist attitude about the mod being only for “veteran players” and not for “little girls” as you like to label people you think yourself above. That trumps polite modding etiquette for me, and I really don’t care about your “rights” cause of that.
Well you’d be wrong on both counts. Though I haven’t officially released for Warband, I have mods for Total War. There’s really no reason for a modder to go out of their way to be this obtuse about toggling game settings. Thankfully I have the ability to get around that though.
I have never seen another mod script a forced game difficulty setting like this. I make mods myself, and I would never go out of my way to make a script to control someone’s game settings. I really like this mod and think it is a fine piece of work, but it squanders it’s potential by being stubborn about simply just letting people choose their own settings. So for that reason, anybody can contact me if they want a “fixed” version. This Knight45 guy can go jump off a bridge if he doesn’t like that.
Yeah I figured that was the reason. Some of the Hounskulls in the “Late Medieval Helmets” OSP would be nice too. For my own personalized version of 1429 I would use the open ones for Lords.
Maybe just utilize the newest Narf Visored Sallets, unless those are unhistoric for the time.
Well, I guess it’s a more than even trade. I’ll have to check it out when I get home from vacation. How is the stability and bugs?
*It is a stupid decision.
The player should have the ability to change their own difficulty. I’ve never seen another mod be this obtuse about that. As for the second point, make your peace with mutations ;)
Just cause someone wants to play the game fighting instead of standing behind their soldiers doesn’t make them a little girl. I have manual blocking enabled, I don’t play with decreased damage to my soldiers, and I don’t save scum. I simply want to have the ability to jump and in enjoy fighting without worrying that I’m going to get knocked out super easily and have to sit there and waste my limited time watching the screen as the battle plays out; not fun.
The difficulty thing straight up sucks, and it was a stupid decision.
I don’t do any of those things on your “test before playing” except for raising the players health because I like FIGHTING cause it’s a game and not a real life simulation. So I will do whatever I can to subvert your stupid stubbornness about that.
Fix the difficulty bug while you’re at it, but anyone feel free to message me for a “hotfix”
Is it compatible with the Pisa submod?
That’s all great stuff, and if that is the difficulty you think people should play, you should recommend it in your PDF, but some of us don’t have the time to play like that or after work want to enjoy something less punishing. Everybody loves the quality of your mod, and it really doesn’t cost you anything to let people play how they want to play. Even on easier settings, the mod will be a challenge.
I just don’t understand why he can’t just recommend playing on max difficulty without FORCING it on the player?
A good workaround is to use Morph's Editor, and give all rings (any number you like) say +50 head +50 body and +50 leg armor. Also you can use the export and import character feature, and modify your stats to a degree. I also modified the skills so that all of the strength related skills can go up to 15, so my character is the proper Achilles that I can actually enjoy the mod with.
