faces as in polygons or as in triangles? That makes a big difference.

what's with the black box across the screen? Aweful way to present this fantastic work
wait... you weren't using VBOs before? wow... good that this is done now.
indeed a really nice CryEngine feature.
pff xD
good luck with that Vray idea lol
ugh, that doesn't look good... if you have trouble modeling Humans then use something like MakeHuman to create a good base model to further model on it and sculpt
sorry to say this, but they look all wrong and even though HL2 barrels had the details in the texture they looked far more believable then these do.
and the rings are wrong, they shouldn't be dented in they should be bumped out.

Congratulations, I hope for you it sells well!
nice shaders!
but they sure cause a lot of head ache though... :-S
worked without a single issue here.
You could also just download the zipped version and copy it into the source mods folder yourself.
damn it, is this actually in-game?
Looks pretty awesome!
about the "down" system clashing with physics: you could use animation blending.
Wolfire did it for example in Overgrowth for some stuff and it works pretty good.(they use bullet I think)
btw, weren't there grenades supposed to be in-game?
These would profit from ragdoll physics.
But whatever, do what you want, maybe it turns out better than expected.
kickstarter only as credit card payment available... man, that sucks
I'd say if you implement already existing code and have to change a few things you're in a better position than starting from scratch and having a longer dev time after all and maybe even a worse physics engine with mayor flaws.
I'm pretty sure that writing a proper physics engine similiar to Bullet will take you longer.
But lets see what happens, maybe I'm totally wrong here and you have some of the absolutely top coders out there.
this looks really impressive!
Great work!

never heard of a game called "EVA".
What is it about?
so, you follow the rather uncreative name scheme crytek is using?
brown is real, eh? or more like yellow.
While I like all your assets and the engine upgrades you made, I totally can't understand the decision to reduce the color range to a minimum and tinting everything yellow/brownish
AHA!
you just took a photo of a real AKS74U and used photoshop!
...
uhm, you aren't even done with your first game and you already release a second game?
hm, I don't like bukkit that much, the config format alone is frustrating enough...
taking "screenshots" with a camera, lol fail.
hm yeah, looks like a sky painted on the inside of a ball which is rotating slowly.
it isn't very realistic that way, the sphere has to be much bigger to create the illusion of a real sky.
were you living under a rock over the past few years? there were 27 ModDB updates including 12 media releases, 21 Tweets, 20 Interviews, 28 DevBlog posts...
this game is already released, please read the profile carefully before you post.
uh, yeah, but it looks pretty boring like that, everything has almost the same color.("brown is real")
needs to emit more light so you can't look through so easily.
such a blue sky and only black shadows?
something's not right there.
Usually the shadows have a slight sky color tint, because the sky emits light too.
hm, the 2 last screenshots bother me a bit... I don't know how to describe it but the lighting looks "flat" or something like that.
One more thing, that huge overlay on the destroyed building in the background looks really bad, because all that black rells my brain there must be a hole, but not seeing what's behind contradicts that thought.
