Don't be disappointed... she's meant to be adorable! ;) Thx for tracking!
And we'll keep preparing eye-candies for you!
Haha glad you like it so far and thanks for the suggestion! We've discussed internally on updating some of the first few models created for the game so we'll take that into consideration! :D
The one you see in the time-lapse videos is 3dsMax. :)
hehe now we have to make up a name for this material.... banana iron?
Thanks! We hope people will be able to remember the game once they see it. With a million games coming out every day, this is awesomely important! :)
We are trying to make sure the game can be run on lower-end computer as well so hopefully you can run it on your older computer. Oh and also tablet (iPad) support, but that might come a bit later. :)
Thanks for the comment! You don't like online games? We played around with the idea of single player games but probably won't have time for it until later. You can still check out the prototype though and there's actually a playable demo. The code name for the project is Run Megan Run. Link: Pepwuper.com
:)
Hahaha this guy? Img191.imageshack.us
Probably the crazy eyes! ;)
Life inspires stories. :p
Time for Mario to get on FB and get an official fan page up! ;)
I agree with this. Proof: Thedarkknightrises.com
We are planning to use the high-poly version for videos (trailers, cut-scenes...etc) and the low-poly version for in-game use. Won't be doing this for all the characters :)
Haha yeah it was a fun idea so we figured, why not! ;)
Great. Making a note of those. I would have thought the Amazon Kindle Fire would be a good device to target but seems like the review is pretty mixed...
Thanks! We think we've got the basic concept down, but still experimenting with many different ideas. Hopefully by the end we'll have a game we are proud of, and one that people like to play! :D
Haha I went to the very first one! I've moved to Seattle since and I organize the Seattle Unity3D meetup (http://www.meetup.com/Seattle-Unity3D/). Say hi to Grant for me next time you go! ;)
Nice find (re: FLCL), maybe we should give Megan a guitar as a weapon some day. ;)
LOL now I can't stop seeing it either!
need to be more careful next time, or make that into an easter egg in the game some how.... ;)
Just uploaded one video where you can see it running on the iPad and on the Mac! This is more of a concept demo though, expect lots of changes from this video :)

Android might have to come a bit later I am afraid... But you can always play it in the browser! :)
btw any good Android tablet we should consider? Sony Tablet S (http://discover.store.sony.com/tablet/)?
Thanks! Yeah still a lot to do on the art side. The buildings are not textured yet so only with simple colors with some lighting. We are also thinking about changing the style to something a bit more... fantasy/sci-fi?
Haha SD, haven't heard that word in a while, brought back memories (SD Gundam! Bit.ly) This sketch was for the comics, so in the game he is a bit taller and hopefully won't look too fat :p
Just submitted a news update today for the 2nd video, or you can find it here first: Pepwuper.com :)
Wow thanks! Very excited to have you tracking us. Keep the feedback coming!
Thanks doppler, Megan is full of surprises ;)
Yup, grew up reading manga and wanted to make it part of the game world!
Also the game's lead artist Patrick and me (Brandon) have both lived in Japan and manga was a big part of our influence. Thanks for the comment!
Thanks ANtY93 for the encouragement! We are hoping to do these weekly / bi-weekly. It's a fun little side-project for us to do, dreaming about the characters ~ :)
