please use this to port it
will you please port it with monogame?
Monogame.codeplex.com
it's an opensource openGL-implementation of the XNA framework which allows you to easily port it to linux!
this runs like garbage on wine, native linux please!
why does it say [preordered] in my games list?
deleted all oil-rush folders and reinstalled... now its running again!
online games are only visible in Local network...
all permissions are correct, I checked the shell-scripts too, they seem legit.
I also deleted oil-rush s .settings subfolder to force a reinstall of the missing libraries, then I verified everything and it still doesn t run...
the launcher is in /oil rush/bin as is the executable, the launcher works but when i click play it just doesn t start... (I already completed the game on ubuntu 11.10 before upgrading, but Id like to see it working on 12.04 too!)
I ve got trouble running it on 12.04! it fails to start entirely!
well I already purchased the full version through the official site the moment the linux-version came out, I already completed the quest and i'm now searching for all the hidden extra's. (I can't get enough of it, and I wonder how on earth you can produce such a high-quality game for only €13 bucks....)
for those who already bought it, will there be a desura-key when I open the link from my e-mail?
I don't mind if it won't, but it's easier to have all my games in one place instead of those BIN-files....
you ll probabely need nvidia-current too, but bumblebee depends on it, also make sure you ve got the latest bumblebee from the bumblebee-team and not the old one from mr mee, ubuntu 12.04 has some issues with bumblebee so you ll need to configure bumblebee manually. you can find instructions here (12.04 only): Geek.co.il
it's not really "giving away" I prefer desura-keys because I can manage all my games at a central place. without desura-keys I have to download installers, and install all additional libaries myself, it's not that of a big deal, but desura-keys are a lot easier to handle. either way I get to play the game, with or without key so it's only a matter of user-service.
I don t think they will, we (yes i m a linux user too) have been spamming alot of pages for linux requests already, so you really can t miss it.
the source-engine is cuurently beeing ported so portal and portal2 might come too

just download the 0.6 zip and unzip it to /desura/common/xonotic (overwrite the old files!!)
then you can launch 0.6 from desura
0.6 has a bug in the campaign! relic-match doesn t work! as a workaround you can skip the level by opening home/[your name]/.xonotic/data/data/campaign.cfg with a text editor and change the first (and only) line to [set g_campaignxonoticbeta_index 21]
it's a matter of CHOICE! if u don't like it, don't use it, ubuntu isn't like windows where you have to stick with the default desktop environment forever! you can change it to YOUR preferences, I like unity, but I can quite understand why someone may dislike it, but I don't bash on others choices... exept for windows....
doesn't work on linux/wine due to XNA framework :-(
XNA-framework... doesn't work on linux :-(
doesn't work on WINE! due to microsoft XNA framework which relies heavily on .net and since the only .net implementation on linux comes in the form of mono which does not support XNA the game is rendered useless...
why windows and mac and not linux?
this needs a linux edition!!
got the message too, every time I play online!
and since linux mint is based upon ubuntu you reach those people as well!
linux isn t your geek-only OS from the late 90 s anymore! it s becoming a real matured OS!
yeah and they are making the old nexuiz maps far more detailled, the 3d-models of some gus are awesome too!
when will the update come out?
i ve finished the first 2 worlds for quite some time now and i m stuck at [to be continued]
you can see that there are some games in development for linux if you scroll down you can see
