I remember the planet from the series, and while I might not have loved the location there, you've made a wonderful job! The pink "corals" look so vivid.

Hi! This is an unknown issue, and perhaps the first one I hear about. If you have other mods installed, it could be the cause of the error. If OpenJK installed somehow differently and DP placed in a different folder, this could also result in errors in the menu (but as I said, this hadn't been reported before).

Hi! Thank you for the comments, we'll take into the account all the info on the bugs and drawbacks.

The darkness you refer to was reported by one of the players as an issue in the past, yet others had no problem with luminosity. Before the release we tested all the maps on several monitors and in general there were no issues regarding the lights. The Forest map can be considered the weakest spot here, yet there are due lights placed everywhere too, and when someone got lost, that was mostly due to the size of the map rather than the night time of it.

Some suggest, the problem could be caused by the specifics of the monitor, as well as a videocard. Changing settings of the monitor, as well as setting up brightness in-game could help with the problem.

English subtitles are supposed to be inside a pk3, no need for additional packs. They can be activated via Language change (text/subtitles) in Options menu inside the game.

It's possible to set the resolution you want in jaconfig.cfg, or making a new one inside the mod folder. Another option is to use a console and type these commands
r_customwidth 1920
r_customheight 1080
r_mode -1
vid_restart

We've never tried combining these two, but I don't think this would cause any trouble. Except maybe for the shaders. DP uses some of the original JA files, like textures. In some cases textures over 2048x2048 or around this size cause trouble in JA, especially if they are tga. In some cases combinations of this size and complicated shaders might cause trouble.

The only possible solution – trying JA vanilla + OpenJK + DP.

It could happen, if you use other SP or MP mods with JA.
Also DP won't run without OpenJK installed first.

Sometimes you can proceed by avoiding doors and using a more unusual (yet classic in games) path. Sometimes a way in (or out) is in darker corners.

This could happen, if you haven't installed OpenJK before DP, or if you changed the name of the folder for the mod.

No, most locations will be closer to DF2 missions. Dantooine isn't exactly that type of the planet, but still ;)

Try Shift + ~ to see, what the console says about soundsets. However I see your screenshot showing DP installed together with other mods, thus the game is most likely to crash due to this.

Different mods might contradict each other, thus non-compatible.

Thanks for the comments! Yes, I would agree, that JA needed some more space in maps, yet this game was one of the best Star Wars experiences of those years. Currently we're working with the next maps to come. Perhaps I'll have to post some news on this matter. :)

Been away! Even though we all stay at home, our day-to-day tasks take quite a lot of time. However I spend weekends working on the maps and models. If only we had more people in our team, the progress would go much faster!
