Seems really well thought out and the ui is clean. Great job. Just hope you can find a good balance between the pain of inventory management and the immersion loss of carrying an army worth of equipment in a backpack.

It seems the problem is with the kingdoms version and not the third age mod.
The kingdoms expansion for medieval 2 has versions 1.04 and version 1.05, start up a kingdoms campaign and see if you both have the same patch installed, if not, whoever has 1.04 should update to 1.05.

Have this exact issue, a way to get past it is to open the debug menu and select "warp to map", select the location you are in and repeat until it places you in an area you can progress

The launcher is a .bat file, it usually creates a shortcut in the desktop,anyway, you can find it on the third folder under the name Third Age or Third Age.bat , depending on your Windows settings.
